Shat is MUCH BETTER! 1 blink and you can go from the bank to the AH.
Posting in any other city but Shat is a waste of a time!

Don't forget the goblin racial. It's on a 30 min CD, but you can get a bank either right beside your AH or MB - whichever is easier.

valley of wisdom is terrible for me.
too crowded, too long to load, certainly no faster than any other area even with a mount.
prefer shat - nice and quiet, quick to load. there's also a hut back in the troll area by the slums that is pretty nice (it must be, it's where I find all the botters.)

Valley of Spirit is perfect imo, and even better if you are a Warlock so you can have a portal at AH and take two steps over the edge and fell down to the mailbox and port up again. And you also have a bank three steps away from AH.
