Thread: How to make millions with JC alone

I have been researching alot about making gold with JC and have noticed that nearly all the guides involve using enchanting to de rings, necks ect.
So I have decided to put this guide together for people who don't have the time or gold to level up Enchanting and only have JC!

First of you will need to buy as much [Ghost Iron Ore] as you can afford but leave some gold to purchase [Jeweler's Setting].
Once you have all your ore you are going to need to prospect this which can be a daunting task thats why I use a addon called panda which you can download from curse.com.

Ok now we have prospected our ore we have a bag full of gems and [Sparkling Shard] First off click all of your sparkling shards to turn them into [Serpent's Eye] you will use these to make ilvl 450 rings and necks. Now go to your local auction house and search for your rare quality gems like [Primordial Ruby] to see which cut is selling the best.

I recommend cutting the top three cuts so you don't flood the AH with one cut (Make sure you save some rare gems to make 450 ilvl pieces later), Now depending on how much ghost iron ore you bought you should have quite a few cuts from your rare gems and now its time to move onto the uncommon gets like [Pandarian Garnet].

With the uncommon gems do the same thing you did with the rare gems but this time only look at the "Perfect" cuts and cut the top three "Perfect" cuts. When you cut a gem their is a chance you will get a "Perfect" cut but not all the time so the gems you cut that are not perfect just vendor for a couple gold!

Well their's the gem cutting stage out of the way you are done with cutting gems!

Now to make some ilvl 450 gear!

Using your left over rare quality gems and uncommon gems see what rings and necks you can make, For one ring or neck you need 6 Serpents eyes 1 jewelers setting and whatever gem you need for that piece. To find out what rings or necks are selling good on your server go over to www.wowuction.com and choose your sever and choose Jewelcrafting as the profession this will show what is selling the best on your server.

On my server [Roguestone Shadowband] and [Golembreaker Amulet] sell well most of the time so I make more of those than I do the other pieces. After using the rest of your gems to make ilvl 450 pieces you can go to your local auction house and list them all up.

I use a addon called auctionator to list my auctions as all you have to do is drag your item onto the Auction House and it will price it and undercut your competition by one or two silver, Another awesome feature in this addon is under the more tab where you can check for undercuts on your items and then spam one button to cancel all your auctions that have been undercut so you can re-list them.

It can sometimes take a few days to sell everything you made so be patient and keep on re-listing but once you have sold everything you have a few more gold sitting in your bag!

Yes but remember ornate bands not sell the same on every server for example they hardley sell on mine so I don't make a couple instead of 10

Do you know from where does Panda update its prices, I mean which database? I have been getting screwy results of late so this would help thanks!

I don't use panda for my pricing I use auctionator which adds another window when you hover over a item and tells you what its selling for at the moment

Good concise summary of the shuffle, I would encourage you to explore TSM for posting, cancelling and crafting. It might look intimidating but doing everything with auctionator is more time consuming.

I myself do use TSM but I mainly made this guide for players who don't have a clue what to do and like you said it can look intimidating so I though better not to involve it!

This thread has given me hope in relying on just my JC. My main is really the only guy that is decent with professions, around 550 mining and 515 for JC. If what you're saying here also applies to my server (i hope to god it does) then I can really get my bankroll going.

One question though...I'm obviously not the first one on my server to do this, they'll be a handfull of ppl who are 10 times more experienced. If I decide to join in, wouldn't they just bully me out? That's my biggest concern, I heard some ppl just undercut you until it's pretty worthless? I play on US Frostmourne which is high pop.

I myself have played on many high pop servers and have never been bullied out if they start undercutting you buy big amounts then just buy them out and relist theirs and make some profit while pissing them off. My PC that I play wow on is currently broken (fried motherboard) But if requested when I get a new PC I get make a video to show how to exactly do this!

Also this works on all servers but you may not be able to make the exact same ring and necks as me you will just have to make different ones to me!

Biggest thing I can respond to you is adressing your concern of "ppl just undercut you until it's pretty worthless". Well the first thing you need to find out is what is worthless to you. What price can you source your ore at. Do a couple small runs and start watching the averages and sale prices. Know what the bare minimum is for yourself to not make it worthless. That information is key. Then I do recommend you become familiar with TSM. There are tons of resources on it around these forums as well as several nice video guides on you tube. Particularly Faid's series of videos was quite comprehensive and beginner friendly.

Start there and go through the series for a basic over view. Then armed with the knowledge and your bare price minimums you will not be able to be bullied. Time and experience will help you as you move forward. Mistakes will be made so start small to lessen their impact. Learn from them. And you will be just fine in the long run. Apprehension is good in this endeavor, complacency is your enemy.
