Thread: How to make gold with JC and Inscription

This is my first guide so feel free to leave some feedback!

This is how I turned 2-3k into 10-11k with 1 hours work and a bit of patience.

First of you are going to want some gems like [Roguestone] and [Wild Jade] Bassically just buy whatever gems you need to make 450 ilvl necks and fingers, on my server [Roguestone Shadowband] sell well so I make around 3 of them the rest of the ilvl 450 gear I only make one unless I notice they are selling well by checking www.wowuction.com

Now you should have around 10 of the 450 rings and necks to sell. Now for the inscription part.

With the DMF coming up I have been making one DMFC a day by using my Scroll of wisdom CD, It costs around 1k to make a DMFC but mine having been selling for around 2k and its not even the DMF yet. So make sure you make your daily DMFC! The rest of my gold I use to make the blue shoulder enchants and the occasional purple one but only if there is profit to be made (Only make these is starlight ink isn't too expensive)!

Once you have all your shoulder enchants and rings and necks you should have around 11k of stuff in your bags depending on your server (ONLY MAKE THESE ITEMS IF THERE IS PROFIT TO BE MADE CHECK YOUR SERVERS www.wowuction.com TO CHECK) Now go to your local auction house and list them I use auctionator to list my items and the Trade Skill Master tab to check my total cost of auctions in the AH. You can use the "More" tab in auctionator to check for undercuts and then cancel all auctions that have been undercut and then relist (only do this if the undercut isn't stupid)

And there you have it a bit more cash in your mail box to loot!

--if your cost to craft 1 DMF cards is 1.000G you are doing something very wrong.! Are you buying the ink from the AH or something like that?

The way I understand, please correct me if I am mistaken, if you buy 10 stacks on average of any MoP herb other than Fool's Cap, your individual card cost is approximate to the cost of 10 stacks of a MoP herb. Plus of course your 3 ink of dreams for a scroll of wisdom.
10 stacks = 50 ink of dreams & 5 starlight inks, you take those 50 ink of dreams and turn them for 5 more starlight inks.
So those 10 stack of MoP herbs = 1 Darkmoon card, plus your scroll of wisdoms cost 3 ink of dreams to make plus your daily cool down.

If a stack of green costs 50g, your cards cost on average close to 500g.

So your cards should not go for 1000g only if your stacks of herbs are around 100g each.
Fool's cap is just like whiptail. you get more inks out of a stack.
Fool's cap is 6 ink of dreams and one starlight ink per stack.
So 6 stacks of fools cap will give you 36 ink of dreams and seven starlight inks, you take 30 of ink of dreams turn them in for starlight ink. On average you are just short of having 10 starlight inks. So go buy 7 stacks of fools cap will give you 42 ink of dreams and seven starlight inks, you take 30 of ink of dreams turn them in for starlight ink.
On average.

So if a stack of fool's cap costs 100g , 7 stacks will cost 700g for your dark moon card, plus you should have left over inks. On average over time.

So for me the eye ball test is:

10 stacks of non-fools cap herb = one card
6.25 stacks of fool's cap = one card

If the price of herbs is 50G you should buy 20 stacks. Make 10 [Starlight Ink] and 32,33 shoulder Enchants (from 97 [Ink of Dreams] - the last 3 you use for the scroll). The shoulder enchants sells for 18,75 per 1: AH cost: 50 x 20 - Vendor profit = 32,75 x 18,75 = TOTAL COST 386 G (if you are to lazy to mill 10 extra stacks you have to pay 500G like jimmy say). I'm personally buying herbs below 30G/stack = I actually get a small profit + "free" ink for the time invested in the milling process.
