Overload of rare amulets and rings

So recently the sales of the item level 415 rare amulets and rings have been slowing down on my realm. The shuffle still makes me enough gold that I'm willing to do it while I'm at work. With that though comes all these rings and amulets that aren't really selling anymore.

I generally sell them for 225g each.

Should I start to DE some of them? Maybe vendor them as well? Dump them at lower prices and hope one of the other shufflers picks them up? Not sure what to do at this point because frankly I don't want to store them as I'd rather use that storage for more ore.

I would try dropping the price, as long you sell them for more than what you would get disenchanting. What I started doing was limiting myself to X amount of each particular suffix then disenchant any extras if one particular one started piling up.

I'd also look to cut prices before a vendor or DE option. If you're selling even at 50% of what you are now, are you still going to be selling for more profit than DE mats or a vendor effort?

It can get frustrating when stock doesn't move, but we're getting into the stage of the expansion now where levellers are slowing down in numbers and you have to take that into account too.

Yeah I can go lower. I set my lowest to 35g and a fallback of 75g. I have around 300 of these things to move. Give this a shot for a week or two and hope my stock dwindles instead of growing even more.

I would limit the number of "tank" rings and necklaces that you have, they dont seem to move as much. The rest I would just store in a mailbox. Once more people are leveling alts there will be a bigger market for them.

Don't forget that all of those rings/necks should/will be valuable in the next expansion. Jasper/Alicite jewelry is selling like fire for me right now at 250 per.

An extra guild bank (or 3) to store those sorts of items is always worth investing in. Even if it's on an account you let the sub lapse on, it's storage.

I shuffle far more blue rings and necks than I have storage space for, so I disenchant them once two bags in my bank are full of them. If the sales rate keeps slowing I'll just keep disenchanting more of them. As someone else suggested I disenchant all the tank rings that have a mix of one tanking stat and one DPS stat like dodge and crit.

Just for your note: At least for Pala Tanks also the DPS stats are quite useful (with the only exception of Crit ). Haste and Mastery come out even higher than Dodge/Parry in order to keep the Holy Power generation high as well as the dmg-reduce effect of SOR.

Dont panc yet. Christmas break is coming up so we should see an increase in sales. After new years you may need to reevaluate.

Meh...I half-think I should disenchant ANY jewelry with any tanking stats at all. Who needs tanking stats while leveling? Even running instances with DPS gear is usually fine below 90. The DPS and healing jewelry sells far better than any of the tanking stuff.
