I know a lot of us were making Darkmoon cards and decks and wondered how it went for everyone.
This is my report. I have 12 scribes. I had made a huge amount of gold from the first fair (got me from 129k gold to 1.1 million gold) and knew that it would go down. But my cost to make a trinket is roughly 4500 gold (including the cards that don't go in decks). As this fair started I had 1 tank trinket that I hadn't sold. I had about 20 cards left over from fair 1 plus all the cards made since then as well as making cards every day during the fair.
I ended up making up 42 decks which I converted to trinkets:
14 caster - I kept 2 for personal use
10 healing - Kept 1 for personal use
8 Agility
5 Strength
5 Tank
During the course of the fair I sold the following:
1 Agility trinket - 39k
2 Healing - 30k and 25k
2 Caster - 25k and 22.5k
3 tank - 12.5k twice and 11.5k
I also sold 16 cards ranging from 1k to 4.5k
I bought 7 cards on the last day totallying 18k to file out a few decks
The total that I collected from these sales was 196k. I had calculated my costs to make all of the cards through the end of the fair at 187k. So at this point I'm 9k ahead and anything that I sell from now on is profit.
I had left at the end of the fair:
10 caster
7 healing
7 agility
5 strength
3 tank (yay! RNG was good to me)
20 loose cards. 94% of my cards were used in decks so I had little wastage.
I've sold one trinket since then (healing for 25k).
The tank trinket during the fair sold in the 12k range, the healing and caster trinkets in the mid- to low-20s and the agi/strength were mostly around mid-30s.
I would guess the tank trinket will end up around 10k, caster/healing around 20k/high teens and the agi/strength around 25k. Since my cost per trinket is only about 4500 this still looks to be very profitable although not as much so as after the first fair.
