Regarding the cut and vendor camp, I have a little macro that is useful for vendoring the gems:

I do a lot of processing on my laptop which is pretty weaksauce and I don't burden it down with addons, so that little bad boy is pretty useful for me. It gets the Fractured and the Perfect Fractured cuts, while leaving the raw alicite in the bag. Change out for any other gem that you are selling in the string.find section.

Watch the quantities involved. Ive found myself making so many carnelian spikes and then DEing them... and it taking weeks to drop all the mats without crashing the market... even on a FULL pop realm.

Alicite is always cut and vendor on sight... can usually buy plenty below 9g on the AH aswell...
Zephyrite has been in the same boat... on my server even after 2 days of Zephyrite daily in a row its going for around 10g each which usually hardly covers the posting cost... even with the high volume selling, they get posted in walls of 100+ and I know that moving the price is futile if they have as many as I do... So Ive just started vendoring.

Hessonite you might get lucky with, can sometimes AH it since its used to skill up, but usually only carnelian is worth it to DE on my server...

Here is the TSM group I use for the alicite necks. Because Jasper rings are also of the same quality, and DE for the same - I've grouped them up with the necks, so It should help you there as well If you cut the rings!

Prices will need to be adjusted to your realms settings though, as mine may not necessarily be the same as yours!

Why cut or vendor alicite? I DE all the jewelry from all uncommon gems because of being short on GCE. Plus it's impossible to sell on the AH any green-quality JC jewelry for more than slightly above vendor price.

What do you mean it only has 1 item in? On my end it had all the rings in there when I exported it - Did you copy it correctly?

I'm having the same problem....only one item in the groups :/ I tried the extended links you posted and those were "invalid"

Eh.. I don't get what is wrong with the links :s sorry... :/ But If you cut the rings/necks in your bags and add them in to the group as you get them, you should have it done pretty fast. Sorry that my links aren't working - I don't know what i'm doing wrong with them.
