What is WoWuction?
It is a web site which tracks and processes WoW Auction House data through Blizzard API with a simple goal: helping its users earn more gold!
It covers all realm in US and EU region (including Russian realms).

What do I have to do to use it?
Just go to www.wowuction.com and choose your realm. Rest should be pretty obvious.


What are the main features of this tool?

1. Profession Advisor
Can be found under 'Professions' on the main menu.
This feature helps you identify which profession products may be profitable to craft and sell on your realm. It will use material prices required for crafting, current availability and demand and other information in order to bring you best selection of crafts. Besides advice, this feature allows you to simply browse all profession products and analyze/filter/sort various pricing information.

2. Bargain Hunter
Can be found under 'Reports' on the main menu.
This feature is an extension of 'Mat Bargains' table you can see on the home page of the site. It will list items which are currently most underpriced on your auction house and therefore are good candidates for snatching and reselling. There are several categories of items available and you can browse each of them independently. Bargain Hunter uses both realm and region historical prices and some other information while creating bargain lists.

3. Item Detail Sheet
The real heart of WoWuction; these are detailed informations on every auctionable wow item including current ah standings, historical realm and region prices and quantities, weekday trends, long-term 90 day global histories, competition analysis for an item and more. You can search and display this for any item by using the 'Look for item' box on the top right part of the site. Just type in a partial item name and click on desired item from the results drop-down.

4. E-mail notification
Available under 'Broker' on the main menu.
This feature allows you to set a list of items for wowuction to watch and as soon as these items show up on your AH with the given criteria, WoWuction will send you an e-mail notification about it. Very useful for watching items and mats of interests to fall under a certain price threshold and buy them before your competition.
Broker requires you to be logged into wowuction. You can log in using 'log in' link in the top right corner and choosing to log in via Open ID providers (Facebook, Google or Yahoo). You can not create a separate account on wowuction (if you do not own/do not wish to use your existing Facebook/Google/Yahoo accounts, just create a new google account and use it only for wowuction).

5. Realm and Global Economy Overviews
There are many reports and top lists throughout the site that give you overview of realm and global wow economy.
Global Top Realms, Item Trends (items with fastest rising or falling prices) and Top Professions can be found under 'Global' on the main menu.
Also on the wowuction home page there are two very important charts;
Global market volume - showing global economy volume for each region over the last 30 days amd
Realm market volume - showing your realm's economy and how it compares to your region over the last 30 days
Realm Top Items and Top Professions can be found under 'Reports/Top Lists' on the main menu.
Reports also include current standings of all companions and pets on your realm.

6. Data Exports & Website Integration
WoWuction supports realm data exports in several formats (csv, tab delimited) as well as data packages for use with the great TradeSkillMaster addon (from @Sapu94 ). TradeSkillMaster features a WoWuction module which uses this package for tooltips and price selection.
If you export data to your TSM addon, it will include your realm pricing statistics AS WELL as region pricing statistics for items and you can see both in-game in the item tooltip!
Data exports are available under 'Resources/Data Export'.
You can also display region price tooltips on your website/blog, similar to wowhead tooltips. Read about it here.

Any kind of feedback is welcome! I like to answer and talk to everyone, so feel free to drop a note of any kind. I also don't take offense (lies!) to criticism because it helps me see flaws which I'm usually blind to. A lot of how wowuction currently looks is derived from ideas AND criticism from its users. Thank you folks!

You can already export a pure item list (as a byproduct of export feature for all tables on the site) by clicking on the small icon in the top right of the table.

There is currently no option for importing, but it is planned. Not on top of the list though.

What would help if you could provide more detailed scenarios in which you would use such a feature. For example; is it to maintain multiple wowuction broker lists or to import list from other software (like Excel or TSM for example)? Also would you like to import/export entire rule definition or just pure item lists (without rule criteria and prices)?
Thoughts on this will help me make the feature more useful once I'm on it.

Well if all possible all of those, it would be real nice to see a really universal export/import option,

Say someone has a real nice snatch list and posts it, you can import it quickly with its own generated code, importing a shopping list from TSM would be nice to, not too sure if its able to be done though.

And maybe even a realm tab on the list, i have two realms and having both mixed in a huge list is kinda meh, not a huge deal but it would be nice to have a tab to switch between lists for your realms.

Not at the moment, sorry! I think TradeSkillMaster_WoWuction supports it, but you can't DL in that format from the website. Theoretically if you knew what you were doing, you could download separate realms export data and merge them into one file.

There's a cool new feature I'd like to announce!

TradeSkillMaster_WoWuction now supports global item pricing statistics!

This means that if you use that module and download TSM data from WoWuction in-game tooltips will display BOTH REALM AND REGION pricing statistics for the item.
To use it just download latest TradeSkillMaster_WoWuction release and download new data export from the site.

Also, if you haven't noticed already, every table on the site now supports export of item IDs. There is a small icon to the upper right of the table which allows you to export IDs in TSM or spreadsheet friendly format.

Just throwing this out there as I know it would help me. Is there a way for you to add a option to not display craftable item results on the bargain hunter page?
