Group supposedly invalid, though no idea why.

    TSM version 1.5.13
    Auctioning version 1.2.21
    AuctionDB version 1.3.12

Currently I have my Jewelcrafting set up in a category. Within the category each color of gem has its own group, so there is an orange group just for cut Vermilion Onyx.

I've had no problems with the other colors but since adding in the orange group I keep getting errors that it's an invalid group and TSM wants to fix them by splitting each gem into a separate group.

Now, everything in the group has the exact same crafting reagent: 1 Vermilion Onyx. I have no idea why this is doing it. Here are screenshots of my settings:

I had something similar happen with Onyx.. I just fixed it by manually using a fixed price, and updating it as any global shifts occur (such as 5.1's price hike on ore). Not really a direct solution to the problem, but a workaround until you can have a fix.

It was pretty annoying that it would kick my group out into a category of it's own, and make separate groups under it when TSM would 'fix' it. I really would love it if you could nest categories in categories, and even if you can't manually do it, having it automatically do that so you don't lose any inherited group configuration with the 'fix'.

It would also be nice if the TSM warning would tell you what group, instead of having to tell tsm to 'fix it' then look around for what changed!

Your problem is probably that you have more than one item in your group. I have never been able to make it work with a %[something] price if there was more than one specific item in each group.

Is it possible that 110% of TSM's crafting cost for Vermilion Onyx is over 225g? If so, that's why it's erroring out.

No, that would result in an invalid threshold error, not an invalid group error.

This is also not it, as the other colors all have multiple cuts within their group without having this problem.

Well at lesat it's not just me; with both of us having the problem with the orange gems in particular I'm wondering if it's not a problem with addon coding.

I use the exact same method as you for posting my cut gems, though, I can't say for definite (as I'm not sure off-hand how many gems are currently in my orange group, there may only be 1 as I don't often cut the oranges unless I've got a big surplus after creating metas) but I've never had any problems posting using this method.

there are no issues with addon coding - only "features"
Seriously though - I can't see why it would think the threshold prices were different for the vermillion cuts based on your settings.
    I will try to replicate

Long shot maybe but do you know how to craft both gems in the group?

I was going to say this same thing. When I set mine up I had some free gems from the daily research that I put into a group but didn't actually know how to craft them yet and had this same error. The problem with those is that TSM doesn't know what the craft mats are so it doesn't think they should belong in the same group. If you have the default tooltips turned on you should be able to tell if you know the craft quickly by looking at its tooltip.

While these are valid reasons why it may cause the invalid groups warning, Faid is the author of the TSM video guides so I highly doubt that it is that simple
