Trouble adding items to auctioning group

Hello, and good morning, afternoon, or evening, whichever's relevant for you =) I have a group called miscellaneous, that has an auctioning operation tied to it, and I've been using it to great success, up until today. I would use Wowuction to find a few cheap items to buy for flipping, upon doing so, I would take the newly acquired items from the mail, open my bags, open my miscellaneous list/items and then add the ungrouped items to the group, voila easy flipping.

Today I created a new group called cheap materials, and sub-groups for different mats, and imported items through a string, and attached shopping operations to them. This is where the problem came in. Now, for example, I have 3 linen cloth in my bag, it isn't yet grouped for auctioning operations, but it is grouped under my newly imported shopping operation. So, when I try to add it the miscellaneous auctioning group, from my bags, manually, I guess you would say, it doesn't show up in my un-grouped items list. Any advice would be super appreciated! =)

Items can only be in one group at a time. I'm not knowledgeable enough to provide assistance on this topic, but you might want to look for some of the recent topics regarding Dealfinding lists, because other users are encountering similar issues and I think a few people have figured out a way to get it to behave how they want and it might help you out too.

The point of groups/operations is that you can assign operations from different modules to the same group. You might want to reconsider how you're organizing things to take advantage of this. There's multiple ways to solve your issue. For example, you could make a subgroup for the linen cloth and apply an Auctioning operation to the subgroup.

Ah, thank you Sapu, that is helpful. I just recently started using TSM, and I'm a huge fan--the gold making potential of this mod is simply mind-boggling!

@Grigwix - I've touched on the concept of planning out your groups in a FAIR bit of detail: GUIDE: TSM 2.0 - Groups/Operations

It might be useful for planning out what you want to do with them

Thanks everyone. Last night I read your article, Kathroman. It was exactly what I needed. Now, before I create a parent group, I think, what all am I possibly going to do with it. I've now made several groups, but just one example is: I made a parent called Alchemy, then the subs, flasks and elixirs and assigned different operations to each. Overall it was a fantastic guide--it really opened my eyes to the possibilities. Plus rep to you and Sapu94 =)
