New addon: Item Mover

Very cool -- I've been meaning to try something like this, but didn't know where to start. I use it with a macro -- I couldn't figure out how to get it to work without using the macroeditbox. Maybe this will help others:

/script MacroEditBox:SetText("/tsmover bank2bags Glyph"); ChatEdit_SendText(MacroEditBox)

That macro seems odd, why not just the following?

/tsmover bank2bags Glyph

That's odd -- I tried that first of course, and got an LUA error, so I went oldschool with the macroeditbox. But now that you post, I tried the simple slash command macro again and it works fine... must have been just a typo on my part.

I've tried using Verona's version of the addon yesterday and today. I don't think it is working. My bank is full of glyphs. When I use /tsmover bank2bags Glyph, I'm getting over 100 stacks of glyphs pulled from the bank. My post cap is 2, but it is pulling as many as 12 of each glyph. When I go to post the glyphs on 15 or so are posting. For the rest, TSM is showing that I have already posted the max.
I had just completed a cancel scan, picked up the glyphs from the mailbox and reposted, prior to using /tsmover.

It doesn't take your post caps in to account at all, it just pulls all from the bank where min buyout is > threshold

OK. I misunderstood. This really won't help me with glyphs then. The problem is that there are more different types of glyphs than will fit in my bags, so I end up having to shuffle glyphs from bank to bags to guild bank in order to try to post them all. Only a few glyphs are below my threshold so /tsmover is moving almost all of my glyphs every time.

I made something along the lines of this, but mine only moved them from the bank to bag if there was none on the AH, (used it for glyphs), i ran mine through the TSM Api for itemtracker to determine if any were on the AH

Would you post your version? Sounds like it is closer to what I'm looking for.

It's Not very neat or quite finished, if you want it to work for you, you may have to edit the codeing, which im not fully sure many are capable of.

I can tweak the coding. I just don't want to have to dig through TSM to find the names of the fields to do the calculations. Between your code and the one posted by Verona, I should be able to get it to do what I want.

This addon sounds like it can be an amazing module or be included in the code for any of the modules for TSM with some tweaks. Like mentioned here, if it could read your postcaps so it determines the limit you want in your bags/bank etc. Good work!

It sounds just like the existing warehousing module......

Overhauling warehousing is on the to-do list
