Much as the title says's. Why do you use other trade addons? What do they have that we do not?
I personally use Auctioneer for it's real-time search. Even though I have TUJ notifications setup to alert me and can buy stuff easily with AH remote it sometimes isn't fast enough for those truly super snatches. Most of the time the really good deals are gone by the time TUJ notifies me.
I use Auctionator because it's light, and it still feels faster than TSM for buying. I'd have to try them both side-by-side to find the specific difference again, though.
I know that even Auctionator is slow as cheese compared to what it was pre-4.3.2. It really seemed like that patch screwed up buying stuff out. It has made walling up singles a legitimate strategy.
Some will; Some won't - So what? Let em die poor.
The questions are more important than the answers.
I use Auctioneer for:
- Realtime search
- Vendor search
- Enchant search that isn't confused about how many mats DEing gives [there's another thread here about how TSM doesn't calculate the DE result counts correctly], and tooltip value of DEing an item that is also more accurate
- Quick buy [shift-right click the auction]
- Condensed display on the AH's first tab [I detach TSM; when TSM reset scan pulls up a specific item, I can see the raw auctions as I buyout/cancel and use the firt AH tab to buyout any other auctions that got posted while the reset scan was running]
- Appraiser tab for posting one-off items that I don't want to take the time to set up all the options for a TSM group for [generally using % of some sort of market price, which means I have to create a group for each item, which means that posting auctions for random things I want to sell means a LOT of groups which would really clutter things up]
- StdDev pricing model to give me another data point of what kind of prices I can expect for an item
- Purchased info in the Auctioneer tooltip is easier to read than the TSM tooltip information [in general, the TSM tooltip info is hard to read: no columns, and that dark blue with somewhat transparent tooltip backgrounds make it really hard to read sometimes; I like Altoholic's display of what items you have, and where they are; much better than TSM's, especially since TSM is completely blind to what's in the mail]
- Appraiser tab for posting Essences, since I have to look at which are currently at a higer price level: Greater or Lesser. Sometimes buying out cheap auctions of one or the other, sometimes not. Just putting Essences in a TSM auction group seems like a terrible way to post them [same would hold for Crystallized/Eternal elements]
- Appraiser tab for posting different stack sizes; for example, when I post Lesser Essences, I usually post 10 stacks of 1, 10 stacks of 2 and 10 stacks of 3. This would be very tedious to do in TSM, but really straightforward with the Appraiser tab.
- The pop up for DEing/Prospecting/Milling [TSM destroying tab seemed really buggy; last time I went to it, it drew a rectangle on the TSM options screen that never went away, no matter which options "tab" I went to, and I don't trust it not to destroy the wrong thing yet]; the Auctioneer pop up also lists the recommendation, such as "Disenchant", "vendor", "auction", etc. based on the expected value of each
- The mailing buttons for adding items of various categories to outgoing mail: "Disenchant" which chooses items where the DE value is above vendor and auction values, "gems", "herbs", "prospecting" and a couple of others

I use the following "other addons"
Auctioneer
-Real-time. That's all
Auctionator
-This is my go-to addon for whenever TSM craps out (My comp suffers from near 1 minute /reload's)
-I also use this to post individual items that I haven't put into groups. (not very often)
Altaholic
-Tracking stuff across toons/accounts. The functionality is just too expansive not to.
Dumpster
-The macros and slash commands. So powerful.
I think that's it. TSM covers everything else for me![]()

Anyone else have input on other modules? The more support I see for a specific feature the higher probability it gets integrated into TSM.
I use Auctioneer for auto-vendoring grey items and Auctionator for most of my shopping lists because I feel like it's faster and the lists take less time to construct (even if I occasionally get unwanted results like "Blackflame cape" showing up when I search for "Flame cap").
And since the point of this thread seems to be to find new features, I would also suggest a search-mode that finds auctions which have no buyout or significantly under-priced minimum bids. As some may recall, auctions are real-time and anything going into a maintenance period with less than 8 hours on the duration will be done when the maintenance finishes. You can snag some *amazing* deals this way, but its very tedious to do with the default UI. Nobody seems to support an auto-mated version of this so far as I can tell.
Auctioneer for the one click buyout feature.
Postal for auto mail gathering
Panda for single click DE/prospect etc. I know TSM has it built in but its too confusing and I accidently blew up 2 of my heroic tier pieces already so I wont use it. If it worked more like Panda where it showed icons of the items it would be far more efficient and less confusing.... maybe I'm just a bady when it comes to TSM.

I'm fairly certain that destroying has been altered so that there are specific checks and balances in place to prevent this now.
IIRC, the right click buying was going to be tricky for @Sapu94 et. co to implement because of the way the new window interacts with the AH, but by all means, correct me if I'm wrong. The buyout features of TSM have grown leaps and bounds from even the early preview version, to the point where I'd say it's just about inlin with auctionator, @Stede

I talked about the buyout speed a bit in the livestream yesterday starting at 35:08 of part 1.
