TSM Posting 200+ auctions at a time - Issue

    Primary profession - Glyphs.
Offsells - Buckles/Leg patches/Leg Armors/PVP crafted gear etc etc etc

When posting glyphs and several other item stacks, the average amount of items I can contain in my bag and post is in the range of 500-600 items. When I get generally above the 300 mark, I will randomly yet frequently get disconnected from WoW to the login screen. After which I cannot log into my character for about 10 minutes and once I am logged back in nothing gets posted. This has happened at 300ish, 400ish, 500ish, and even when I'm like 5 away from completing the count it can still disconnect me.

To be clear, I use the mousewheel to post auctions. I use a mouse with a free roller mousewheel, so I can simply spin it fast and it will queue all 600 items in a matter of seconds then I just simply sit back and wait for it to finish posting everything. The disconnects don't happen when TSM is actually posting the items, but I get disconnected during the queue process (mousewheel is spinning). I have several characters that I use TSM with such as one for JC, one for companion pets, etc but they hardly ever post more than 80 at a shot. This issue only happens on the one toon I post the most stuff on.

Also, this is actually an issue that I've been having since I've been using TSM last year. However, although it was still an issue the disconnects would only last a minute or so - and when I logged back in, all the items I queued managed to post while I was disconnected. Now ever since the new upgraded TSM with its own AH tab the disconnects last much longer (approx. 10 minutes) and the items are not posted.

The error upon login is the standard "A character with that name already exists." A standard google search of course has errors dating back to vanilla since it is a common error, and searching for anything remotely close to this on these forums hasn't found me anything. I'd be happy to give any other info on addons I am using at the same time as this or any other info, but I really need to get this issue fixed or some kind of a work around thats viable for the amount of auctions I'm posting. I've looked into other possibilities that may be the cause of this issue like possibly my internet is not able to handle the data that needs to be transmitted from the client in the short amount of time, but checking logs I am nowhere near tapped out on my up/down bandwidth. The only reason that is pointing me in the direction of either a TSM issue or other addon compatibility issue is the fact that the last several TSM updates have only made the issue worse.

TSM mods currently installed: TSM, TSM Auctioning/Crafting/Shopping/Accounting/AuctionDB/ItemTracker/Warehousing all up to date on Curse Updater as of the moment of this post.

    Computer setup: i7-950 3.06ghz, 8g ram, 2x ATI HD5870

So basically, help me Obi Wan

Are you using Auctioneer? Are you waiting for the scan to finish before starting to post/cancel?

I am using auctioneer (with only the addons turned on in order to use auctioneers snatch system) and auctionator. And I do wait for it to finish scanning before I queue everything.

Do you have the same problem without any other addons enabled?

    I do not, no.

Edit: I misunderstood the question. Yes I still have the same issue without any other addon running (except auctioneer/auctionator)

Huh? Disable ALL addons except for TSM and see if you still have the same issue.

Ive experienced the same problem the last couple of days.
But turning off "Additional scanning to retrieve more Seller names"
and "Scan manual searches and searches by other Addons"
under General in Auctioneer seems to have fixed it.
Im only posting 300 ish auctions, but it might fix the problem for you to.

@Sapu94 - I've been running into a similar, yet slightly unrelated issue the past couple weeks. It's not nearly as inconvenient as getting booted out to the login screen must be , but I figured I'd let you know.

It's also happening when I'm posting through a large number of items in a short period of time, and I believe it's in at least some way related to the setting you helped me with a couple weeks ago to get my groups to post excess or "leftover" items that are less than the specified stack size.

I've tried tacking this from a few different angles - Waiting for the full scan to finish and then spamming the post macro, Hitting it as each item scan becomes available, slowing the rate at which I press the macro to a much slower pace (this one seems to help the most, but still causes issues). Anyway, I keep getting the message to "Not move any items around in my bags while posting" which I'm obviously not doing. I do think that what it is trying to do though is break apart stacks as it is posting, based on the default ordering in the bags. I use arkinventory to sort my bags, so I'm not really certain, it just makes the most sense with the way I have everything set up.

As an example, Let's say I have some ore. It stacks to 20 and I may have 4 full stacks and then 14 left over. My auctioning group will posting them in stacks of 10, and then a group of 4 at the end, but I think that if the incomplete stack is coming up first in the inventory, it tries to combine 4 and 6 from every single stack along the way - does that make sense? Another reason I think this is the issue is because it is ALWAYS the remaining amount that hasn't been posted. The full stacks ALL go through fine and then I have the partial stack left. It also doesn't happen with every single item that has partial stacks, but it usually seems to happen when I have an item that has both full stacks and leftovers. If I had 7 of another type of ore, those ones seem to work fine.

To be fair, I can't recall whether or not it was doing this before I toggled that setting, so this is mostly speculation on my part, but hopefully that gives you something to go on
