Yes, I think that would be a good start. It could display the average price as seen in the past week or two, moving average, and note if if it is a good deal or not. Then maybe in the future expand it a bit so it will list your faction's AH prices for it, the vendor cost (if it can be purchased), if it is a faction only item, and if you download data for both factions then what the opposing faction's AH is currently listing the item for. Here is a nice example:
I play horde, and have a main toon, and two AH/bank mules, one in Undercity, the other at Booty Bay. I am extra lazy and purchase an Undercity Cockroach for 3g off of the horde AH (I just can't take the time to find the guy under the steps, just 10 seconds away). I now send the Undercity roach from mule 1 to mule 2, and mule 2 knows from past experiance that he/she can list it for 15g min/20g buyout, and still make a small profit even if it takes a week to sell. Someone on the alliance side purchases it knowing that they can now turn around and list it in the alliance AH for 40g min/50g buyout.
Ideally I would sing in with mule 2, who would look for good deals, or see what is selling cross-faction well. Using that info mule 1 could purchase something off of the faction AH, and mail it to mule 2, or the main toon could farm or purchase the item as needed, and send it directly to mule 2 to list in the neutral AH. And mule 2 could always find a good deal and send it back to mule 1 to be listed in the faction AH. Also, if I was to purchase a second WoW account I could do cross-faction trades myself in the neutral AH, yet to help avoid snipping I would use the suggested AH pricing for the current location, and it would also help pass funds back and forth between accounts (a bit hefty exchange fee at 15%).
Just me daydreaming, thinking of where this could end up. I am guessing that a lot of people that do cross-faction trading already have a good idea of what the items are selling for in the other faction's AH, what moves, and what doesn't. Even if they don't have that second account, they develop a feel for things I am sure, and know that some things just sell better at the neutral AH while other items are a flop, while others, like myself, are just starting experiment. This would help us new goblins break into a new stream of income.
I would like to be able to create a button that would automatically open tsm to the crafting that i want. Instead of hitting TSM--Inscription--Show Craft Management WIndow just being able to hit one button and have it open would be nice.
If this is possible or there is a macro that would work let me know.
Why are you doing it that way ? Just click your inscription icon then the open Tradeskillmaster crafting icon. To answer your question - no you can't shortcut the crafting window as it is an extension to the normal Tradeskill window (e.g open the Tradeskill frame then open tsm crafting)
Hi,
I kicked in a ticket, but Sapu nicely suggested to add my question in here.
The issue i have is that if I use restock with inscription I get a large list it takes me ages to mill and create inks even if I run it everyday. As a irl busy guy I hoped to use a work around. On of the on-hand queueing option was to ignore vendor items to limit you on-hand list. I thoght Vendor Inks were also vendor items.
The way I would like to work is to mill / create 100-200 Inks of Dream (Panda inks) and use these inks as vendor prices for the other inks. With pressing on-hand it would be nice to have a list of the 30-60 most profitable glyphs on any ink types and not only the ink of dreams glyphs.
If there are more questions about this please let me know.
with regards,
Exace
2 multi-account quality of life suggestions/requests/inquiries.
1) the ability to transfer settings/profiles to another logged in character ingame. Something like what Vuhdo has for example.
2) the ability to use the TSM application so push/edit shopping lists into/in WTF as well as reading them from the WTF.
And/or directions towards a simple method other than symlinks to maintain profiles across multiple accounts.![]()
can we put an option for mass coding?
Character option selection
Price for 1 stack or for 1 box. example i wanna sent Green Leaf Tea for 25g per stack. it will take all the stacks from my inventory and sent them for 25g each in CoD
if i have 10 stacks it will put 250g at CoD
if i have 12 stacks it will put 300g at CoD
Add the faction for CoD mailing to more then one person just with 1 click!

I would love to see the lists in the custom posting, canceling and resetting windows listed alphabetically.
IIRC the addons don't have the capacity to pro-actively save/load their content to/from the WTF files. Unless something has changed, the addon settings are read from the WTF files on load, and held in memory including all updates during gameplay. The current version of your addon settings only gets saved back to WTF upon logout and possibly reload (due to unload).
TBH, the capacity to proactively force a save to the WTF would be a most useful thing, in consideration that if you make a ton of changes to your auction groups and wow.exe crashes, you lose all your work.
