TSM Guide: Dual Account Setup

Spent a whole night figuring this out so thought would hammer something together in case i forget in future, and may help someone else as well. Wasnt sure where i should post so if its in the wrong place my apologies.

The assumption is u have 2 accounts as follows:
Wow1 > Crafterjim (this is your high level crafter)
Wow2 > Sellerjack (a level 1 seller on account 2)
And what u want to do is see what Sellerjack is holding or has listed on AH, and then craft accordingly on Crafterjim.

Firstly download and install the latest versions of:
1. TSM and all extras
2. Altoholic
3. Datastore (should already be included in Altoholic, ie should not need to download separately)

For Crafterjim turn on all TSM, Altoholic and Datastore.
For Sellerjack turn on Altoholic and Datastore only (dont need to turn on TSM).

Disclaimer: this is the quick and dirty way to get the 2 accounts talking in less than 5mins (ie i turned on all altoholic and datastore mods, i dont care which i need or dont need).

Start with Sellerjack's account:

Step 1: click the Altoholic minimap button.

Step 2: click Options


Step 3: select Account Sharing

Step 4: tick Account Sharing Enabled

Step 5: type in Crafterjim and click Add

Step 6: tick the tick


Step 7: select Shared Content

Step 8: tick ALL, then press OK

Leave Sellerjack standing there, dont log off. Repeat 1-8 on Crafterjim (obviously type in Sellerjack in step 5). Now group them up.

Using Crafterjim target Sellerjack and then continue with the following steps, whilst on Crafterjim:

Step 9: click Account Sharing Request button


Step 10: type in a letter, any letter (i chose S because its the first letter of Sellerjack)

Step 11: select Target (thats why u have to get Crafterjim to group and target Sellerjack)

Step 12: click Request Content. If u have done steps 1-8 correctly, a list will show up on the right side straight away.

Step 13: tick ALL

Step 14: click Request Content. This will take about 30 seconds while information is sucked over.

Step 15: Once the requisition of data is complete it will say so. When it says complete, then u click Cancel (to exit the window, dont cancel during transfer duhhh).

Close Altoholic.


Step 16: click TSM minimap button

Step 17: click Crafting Options

Step 18: select DataStore

Step 19: select Sellerjack

Step 20: test that all is working by click Crafting - Inscription button and looking for items that are being sold on Sellerjack. If everything was done correctly u will see Sellerjack's items. Below pics show the 3 items Sellerjack listed, showing up in Crafterjim's TSM = FTW!

I was trying to figure this out myself, and altaholic was hanging at transferring table of contents forever. Following your guide worked though. +rep

Note: with the TSM release version you need to transfer crafting costs between the two accounts if you are selling crafted items on a banker on another account and your crafters are not on the same account as the banker. You can access this in the crafting module.

Ok, this works perfect... but what im trying to find out and sort is does this work crossfaction?

So what i need is to have profile on crafter that will check other faction seller inventory and make list what to be made from him...

Hm... tried a lot but have couple problems with this cross faction thingy.

I can't retrieve inventory from Horde Seller to Alliance crater and there for I can't craft for him. Any advice or workaround?

Also there is no chance to add to TSM to include other faction char... or I'm missing something? Not even from same account.

Thanks, will try it. but still stacked with problem, how to retrieve other faction inventory?

Are you asking how to transfer items cross faction? If so that's outside the scope of this thread and is discussed in numerous threads throughout The Consortium forums.

No no, transfer of items is not a problem at all. I have problem to transfer info about inventory. I have only alliance crafter, so i need to check inventory of horde seller and to craft what i miss on alliance crafter.

Allinace to alliance works like a charm.

Do you have datastore setup correctly? Do you have your other faction characters selected in the Crafting options?
