Mass Import of Exported data... for another server

I apologize if this was already covered in another thread.

Is there a way to export a notification list I have set for one server, then import it back in to be effective for a 2nd server? Just hoping there is so that I don't have to manually set up all the notifications again a 2nd time.

    Thanks!

On your user controls page look for the buttons that same "Export" and "Import". Take note though that if you have more than 150 unique notifications, you are going to run into trouble because the limit per user is 300.

The import option doesn't seem to be working, at least not for me. When I click on it, it exports the data again. Nothing pops up or does anything to allow me to import data.

Also, when I export, I don't see anything in the data that shows it being server specific.

Tell me where you get lost.

    1) Click the "Export" button. You see "Market Notifications Sent to Clipboard" appear directly to the left of the button.
    2) Click the "Import" button directly underneath the Export button. A textarea and a dropdown box with a realm list appears just below.
    3) Click the textarea. Paste the contents of your clipboard (Ctrl-V).
    4) Look over the lines you pasted, and remove those ones you don't want on your new realm.
    5) Select your new realm in the dropdown box directly underneath the textarea.
    6) Click the "Import" button.

I'm basically stuck at #2... not getting a textarea or dropdown box to show up. Actually, when I click on the "Import" button, I see "Market Notifications Sent to Clipboard" appear again.

In case it helps, I have IE 7. I can't imagine that anything at work is blocking this from working, since all other functionality on TUJ works perfectly fine for me. I can try it at home in about an hour, though, to see if I have the same issue there using Google Chrome.

I'm using Chrome and when I click Import, I get the expected behavior.

It's probably the Flash object I use to copy to the clipboard overstepping its bounds in IE7.

I won't have access to any Windows box until at least Thursday to check it out. And even then, it'll be running IE8, so I may not be able to duplicate the error. To save some time, I've made the import area permanently visible and removed that first import button. That should solve your issue.
