    Other Markets Graph

Is there a way or is it possible to add a way to narrow down what other markets show on the other markets graph?

For example I search Hypnotic Dust and it shows a ton of other server markets and there price ranges. Can we make it so we can narrow that down to compare against the servers we want to see? Maybe a list of all servers we want to see displayed there could be a saveable setting for people who log in? For people who just casually browse and not log in it could stay the same.

    Thanks for the consideration.

I would be interested in this as well. It would be a bit more meaningful to have the same handful of servers represented every time since you could get more familiar with how the different markets interacted with one another.

What would you gain by seeing fewer dots on the Other Markets scatter plot?

the servers we want to see
What is the difference between servers you want to see and servers you don't want to see?

Someone mentioned in another thread that we may want to be able to limit it to PvP or PvE realms, or perhaps RP vs Normal realms. And I can understand that, maybe. But as far as saying, "hm, I want to see Arathor, Blackhand, Darkspear, Garona, Lightninghoof, Nesingwary, Warsong, and my realm," I don't get it.

you could get more familiar with how the different markets interacted with one another
I'll give you a big hint: the different markets don't interact with one another. At all. Barring server transfers, money from one realm never makes it to another, so all those observations are independent.

This graph shows ~200 parallel economies and their current valuation of an item, along with the size of those respective economies. With those two pieces of information for all realms of your faction, along with your realm singled out, you can see where your realm fits in, and if that item may be considered over- or under-valued for a market of your realm's size.

Sorry, I will clarify. I didn't mean "how the different servers interact with one another" I meant "how the different markets/commodities interact with one another from server to server"

Yes, the graph shows ~200 parallel economies, but if it only showed ~5-10 parallel economies, it would be much easier to spot trends and speculate.

Personally, I think there is some value in server type (RP/Not, PVP/PVE) because there are some items that are considered PVP items, RP items, etc. I think there might also be some value in limiting to similar AH sizes (perhaps 10-20 on either side). Overall, I think it provides the most value as is.

This is more what I was trying to say. Maybe make it a clickable option to just show the type of servers we want to see. For example only show PvE servers, only show PvP servers, show all, etc...

    Thanks.
