Now you can use Auctioneer to combine AuctionDB's market-value estimates with those from other sources. There are several reasons I wanted to do this, even though I never run full Auctioneer scans, and I figure I probably wasn't alone on any of them:
- Combining with Auc-Stat-TheUndermineJournal and (shameless cross-promotion) Auc-Stat-WoWuction means I get more than one scan per hour, which makes a big difference for high-volume items on the high-population AH where I play.
- TUJ, WoWuction and AuctionDB all use different market-price estimation algorithms, and I like to hedge my bets on which one's best.
- By combining with Auc-Stat-Purchased and Auc-Stat-Sales, and allowing Auctioneer and BeanCounter to scan my TradeSkillMaster scans and mail, I can give more weight to auctions that have actually sold.
