Reduce all items threshold/fallback by X%

    Hi There,

Recently I've noticed that I dont have much liquidity at all (around 40K liquid gold, and 300K in active auctions).
I deal mostly in rare recipes, transmog and mop blues/greens.

I have broad categories, such as 'transmog', 'mop blues', 'mop epics' etc.
Under the categories, there are groups specific to each item (unless its like Windwool hat of the XYZ). I generally try to create a new group for an item, If I don't have a group already.

I took this approach, so that I could apply specific pricing options per items.
This works great.. except now I'm wanting to increase my liquidity in a short amount of time - I want to have a 'sale'.

Basically I'd like to start out by reducing the fallback & thresholds across all my groups & categories by 20%~.

It's my understanding, and experience, that a groups' settings overwrite a categorys' settings - assuming the group is under that category.

Is there any easy way to do this? I'm worried I might have missed a simple feature like 'this category overwrites the groups that belong to it'.

    Thanks!

group setting do override category settings - just right click the overridden setting on the group so its greyed out and then it will revert to the category setting

Ah yes, I thought this might be the case. Was just wondering if there was an easier way, without doing it for my 100+ groups..

    Thanks for the info though

It seems like you could just create a new profile (name it "Big Sale") and create your new, broader categories/groups and copy the items into them. Then when the sale is over you can switch back to your current profile.
