I thought I was using the latest beta release, however I see that curse client I need to have the release preference set to Alpha.

Respectfully, I doubt you had the same problem as I, or that this would solve the problem I've been having. The zip file can not be more recent that the last edit of that post (24 Sept., as of the time I'm typing this), and my copy of the file was downloaded and installed in October, so I know I've got the most recent version.

This sounds reasonable. Could this be considered?

Been getting this today. When I look at the application main screen it look like the number in "Next Check for updates" is in a wrong format and last AH dump was one day ago:

No, but actually I remember I did a copy/paste of the wow folder since I needed a copy with other addons. Could it be due to having wow installed twice?

Has this issue and suggested fix been examined by the Powers That Be, yet, please? ;-)

    Thanks!

The fix will be implemented soon. It just hasn't been on the top of the list and this week is a bit hectic for me.

Ok I think I've fixed it now. Redownload it from the original post and let me know if you have any new issues.

EDIT: Hold on I just found another issue....
EDIT2: and fixed....if it encounters an error trying to contact blizzard's servers it'll now wait 30 seconds and then try again. I also fixed the bug where it was flashing the window even when it didn't actually update.

    Downloaded!
    Installed!
Ready to run!...(Just as soon as Blizz's servers arise from the Rigors of Maintenance...)

    *drums fingers, waiting on Blizzard*
    (Are they up yet?)
