TSM errors after upgrading from APM

I have have been running APM since it was released (well, since QA died).

My APM configuration includes a complete breakdown of all glyphs, categorized by ink type. Additionally, I have several Gem categories. It seems that TMS can't properly convert the Groups/Auctions. They show up in the list of the left, but when I click them I get the following error:

Message: ...ddOns\TradeSkillMaster_Auctioning\modules\confi g.lua:2027: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil)

As a note, I am only running these two addons (APM and TSM) when testing. Moreover, if I wipe out the TMS configuration and create a new group it seems to work fine. The failure seems to be in the conversion.

I really don't want to have to manually recreate these groups again. What can I do to move forward?

You'll just have to recreate the groups. Crafting can make groups for you so it shouldn't take that long.

I had manually built a group while testing, and was loathing the thought of crafting several hundred glyphs (AGAIN) in order to rebuild the groups.

However, your comment directed me to the Crafting interface in order to build groups. Brilliant interface. I rebuilt my groups in just a couple of minutes, and am now playing with the new crafting and AH tools and utilities.

Thanks for the quick and informative response!

    /cheers!

Not sure my response was the most informative but glad I could help

I found more than one bug report (curseforge ticket) on this and if they have not gotten fixed by now I feel quite certain it will never be fixed. It is unfortunate when the first thing a new TPM user with APM sees is an error message. I also do not see why they would code the feature but not debug it. However, the developers know the situation better than I and there could be many valid reasons.

Regardless, it is what it is.

    GL!
