New TSM Module - Need Alpha Testers

There is a new TSM module that I've been working on for the last couple of days called Accounting. The basic idea is that it keeps track of auctions you sell and auctions you purchase sort of like MySales / Beancounter (but not nearly as bulky as beancounter - doesn't block your mailbox for a few seconds when you open it).

I'm not going to go into too much detail about what it does because I'm interested in what people's first time experiences are like. Let's just say, I'm really excited about it and have been personally using it a ton over the last few days so I think it's something work trying out; especially if you use beancounter / mysales.

So, if you are interested, download r190 (or higher) of the main TSM addon as well as r5 (or higher) or the Accounting module.

NOTE: This is an early alpha version. There will almost certainly be bugs. What I am looking for is feedback in the following areas:
    • First time experience. How intuitive is the UI? What immediately jumps out at you as something that could be useful? What initially is unclear / confusing?
    • General feature suggestions. Please be specific with these and make them things that are closely related to what's currently implemented.
    • What parts of the module you find most useful. What parts of the module you find least useful.
    • Any other general comments / questions.

    Thanks and enjoy!

EDIT: In case it wasn't clear, just post your feedback / comments in this thread.

    Nice

Unfortunately I have to leave within the next few minutes, so no time to explain too many details/give screenshots, but so far, one thing I noticed is:

Went to grab some mails, and the gold I made from 4 sold glyphs (bad night -.-"), but unfortunately only one of the glyphs got recorded in _accounting. As I said... I'll try to give some more information when I'm back, promised

    I'm on _accounting vr8, tsm r190

EDIT: might be of interest: using the latest MailOpener

Oh one thing I forgot to mention...it almost certainly will not track items that sold before you installed the module and visited the AH with the module installed for the first time.

This is because the "auction sold" mail only contains the name of the item...and the module needs the link for the item. So it has to build up a database of links based on scanning the items you are currently selling when you open the AH and then matching up the names to the links when you sell the item.

How does the module handle RAH sales? If it's something you've sold before, does it get recorded?

I would assume it won't be able to record any RAH activities (posted and collected gold for an item, or collected gold for an item) because TSM doesn't communicate with your RAH account; basically the addon does its magic in-game. Correct?

Hmm, what I think of first is the sell price: the sell price recorded is after the AH cut (obv), but if you don't know/realise this, adding those 5% could skew (screw? :P) things, especially when dealing with more expensive auctions that are low-volume and slow-moving: recipes and what not. I know many of us use TUJ and have all items possible in a TSM group (no? just me? ;O) so it won't quite affect us, but a 3000g sale recorded as 2850g sell price and you sell one more weeks/months later, you look at the history, list for 2850g and "only" get 2707.5g: a 142.5g difference.

I don't know ... I may just be lazy or be overthinking it.

Also, a little arrow indicating what you are currently sorting by could be useful. Actually, sorting doesn't seem to work apart from just top-to-bottom or bottom-to-top.

    Quantity and Stack Size.

Quantity is the amount of successful auctions of a particular item, yes?
Stack Size is the stack size of these successful auctions, yes?

I'm wondering how this will play out for people selling volatiles, dusts, essences etc. in different stack volumes. Mathematically and visually.

One thing I'd like to be able to toggle between is "Time" (xx hrs xxx mins ago) and "Date" (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM).
