    Vendor Search & Disenchant Search no longer working - stuck on "Preparing Filters..."

    These worked perfectly fine until yesterday (I believe it was yesterday). Now, as the topic says, nothing happens after I click on them - it just gets stuck on Preparing Filters...

    Can someone please help?


    :: EDIT :: Ok, let me modify this post. After waiting literally 3-4 minutes, it DID finally start searching. This process used to be near-instant though. And it used to complete the search in under 10 seconds, now it says it is Scanning 140/140 and takes about 2 minutes to complete. Can anyone tell me why it changed so noticeably? Just curious (glad it is still working after all!)

    It's fast only if you have recent TSM_AuctionDB data since then it can use min buyouts to narrow down what to search for.

    Thanks for the reply, as usual, @Sapu94

    Can you further clarify why TSM is sometimes able to complete a disenchant search in 2-3 minutes, and then other times it takes literally 15 minutes (i.e. it gets "stuck" on Preparing Filters... for a looooooong time).

    Were you saying that it's faster if the TSM Desktop app has recently updated its data? Meaning that I should try to time the disenchant searches to right after I see that the data has been updated in the TSM Desktop app log?

    Also, is there anything else I can do to speed up the process? Thanks!

    If there's recent TSM_AuctionDB data, then it doesn't have to scan the entire AH.

    OK, well, could you tell me what generally qualifies as "recent" TSM_AuctionDB data? Because my desktop app receives data hourly... right?

    IIRC, it's within the last 30 minutes. The app will download data as often as Blizzard updates the data, which can be anywhere from 45-150 minutes.
