Wow Optimization stuck at 0% then 1%

Well I guess I am in the minority, I have two computers, I have disabled all security settings, spyware, firewall, etc...and my world of warcraft optimization is stuck at 1%, I can't believe they couldn't have come up with a better way to deploy the patch, now I am reading about deleting files and run as administrator.
I got to be honest...that's sloppy software development.
Bad Form! I am not playing tonight for some time.

I had the same issue. Maybe what I did can help you.

Delete your wow cache and WTF folders.
Keep your anti-virus and firewalls off.
Start WoW as an administrator (option when you right click)
Start and let it go. Mine started off slow but finished in about a half hour.

Be warned, one of these steps caused me to lose all my auction groups and shopping lists. If that's a big deal to you, you may want to attempt a different fix.

Just wait 30 mins or so. Mine didn't move from 0% for at least 15-20 mins then jumped to 90~. There are tons of posts all over the net with people noticing the same thing. Blizz must have programmed the progress bar indicator poorly.

Deleting your WTF is what caused you to lose your shopping lists and auction groups. All those kinds of things sit in the WTF folder.

BUT, that said, deleting the WTF folder can often fix issues like this. Things get gummed up and the culprit is that WTF folder. Ironic that Blizzard called it the WTF folder, isn't it.

Make sure you can see hidden folders (google it if you can't)
Go to Program Data > Battle.net and delete the 3 folders in there
    Turn off Anti virus programs
If that doesn't work check the sticky on the wow forums, helped me.

Also keep in mind some people are getting stuck at 0% for 45 min then popping up to 100% So you may need to just wait it out.
