So, the first thing I'm going to say is - Stop changing professions. It is costly in terms of both time and gold. You will invest a lot that you then need to make up to get back to breakeven.

Second, start simple. The vendor supply guides that @Sinshroud and @dbMjolnir pointed to are a great place to start. You run around a small area, buy up all the limited supply items and put them on the AH at extremely high percentage returns (a few silver to 50/100/more gold). Will this solve your gold woes by itself? Absolutely not. There is no silver bullet. The really good gold-makers in these forums do a lot of little things to make money. People talk most about the "thing" that is making them the most impressive amount of money at that moment. The problem with that is that it changes for them over time and it's different from one server to the next.

On the flip side of that, avoid the difficult for now. The Shuffle usually involves JC, Alchemy, Enchanting and Tailoring (and potentially other profs). It's a huge process that involves knowledge of many markets in order to be most effective. It's a lot of work as well.

Finally, use what you know to make money off other people. You've recently leveled a couple professions. What really sucked about leveling those profs? Did you often feel like you were getting squeezed by others that were taking advantage of you? I hope you see where I'm going here. There are two ways you can use this information. One, you could go out and farm some of those chokepoint materials to list at stupid prices. Two (and this is much more fun), you identify a chokepoint that currently has a handful of cheap mats on the AH. I'll make up an example (which may not be a good one on your server depending on prices). It's almost impossible to level Alchemy without using some Goldthorn. I'd check the AH. Suppose I see 10-20 Goldthorn at ~1g. Buy them, repost them at 3-5g each. There is actually a great post about leveling chokepoints that you could use as a guide for this exercise. I have to get back to work, however, so if someone else can find that, I've got a +rep waiting for you.

Currently I'm leveling enchanting from farming dungeons myself so that I can DE all those rings I made from my JC. While transmuting the rubies. I'm def. going to do the supply routes though, 700g to make around 1200g every day or something, I'll do that lol.

One thing to note on those supply routes- do some research on your server. I've done ok with the earlier one, but I lost a lot of money on the dalaran one. Nobody wants most of the stuff I was listing and a lot of the deposits were killing me.

The pets were pretty safe, but the wine glasses and RP gear was a huge bust.

There's a profitable enchanting levelling guide that Sterling made. It's included in the Gold FAQ in my sig.

I saw that guide. I'm stuck at 235 and I really don't want to pay 4g for ilvl 55 gear to de. That's gonna get way to expensive.

BTW, just sold 20 inferno rubies at 250g a piece :P

I remember the first time I got really nervous about investing large amounts of my gold. I was sitting on ~300k at the time early in Cata and @Sinshroud had mentioned there was a bot banwave that had just went out. I sat there staring at the AH with tons of ore and other mats that I had not intended on buying and eventually decided to go big. I spent well over ~50k at the time and was freaking out about having such a large inventory.

Turns out there was no banwave and ore kept showing up and yet by handling all the ore I had picked up I still managed to break 500k from that investment. After that I had no problem going big even to the tune of spending 200k in one day on mats (yes I've done that) and it is always a bit nervewracking going from right under 1M down to ~800k or so but I knew the markets and I stayed the course and was rewarded in the end.

I assume you mean either Taking advantage from external sources or The Art of Gouging: no supply? No problem!.

You can't make money by vendoring green gems anymore. That ship sailed 9 months ago when vendor values of uncut gems got nerfed. You can craft jewelry, then DE it. It helps to have a transmute alchemist too for inferno rubies. There are some good threads that explain it well around here, but if you have trouble, feel free to request a new one and maybe someone will do a writeup for rep.

Definitely think of it this way: it's pixel-gold. And, like everything in life, the risk is proportional to the reward. You won't make 80k by buying 1k of ore at a time. At least not before the end of the Mayan calandar. And why should you? People who make big money, spend big money to get there. So, on stuff like shuffling, check the math, and once you're sure you can make gold, go big.
Some will; Some won't - So what? Let em die poor.

+Rep doesn't buy me beer, but it sure gives me a reason to have one - if you learned something new or thought about something differently, let's celebrate!

The easiest way to start is buy a stack of something and sell it in smaller groups for a greater overall price. Googling 22 steps to auctioneer really changed how much gold I make. Also traveling for vendor pets and recipes started me out. Now I have 2 accounts for crossfaction trading.
