Thread: What to do with 500+ green/blue/purple equips?

I am quite frankly overwhelmed right now. Through bankalt gbanks, leveling alts, and random old-world raiding, I'm sitting on at least 500 equips of various rarities and values, and for all slots. I use TSM with TUJ and Auctionator, but the last time I tried to sell gear I ended up losing out due to messing up the settings.

I have gear spanning across all expansions and levels, from random wristbands to about 50 pieces of the old Scarlet Crusade gear before they redid the instance, including an unbound chestplate (!!). I have greens, blues, and purples, as I said in the title, but the problem is that I have so much stuff I am confused on what to do with it all. Currently it's sitting spread out on a few alts, in banks and mailboxes, but it's not going anywhere right now.

So. What settings should I have on TSM? I prefer using TUJ if at all possible, since I'm already set up as such for professions. Do I make categories, lump everything in together, make completely separate groups for each item... do I use the random extension 'of the bear' or what-have-you, to make more distinctions? Do I sell by gold price or percentage of item, do I use Market Price or Mean?

I understand how TSM works and have made a decent living off of selling crafted items. But for these items - transmog and other - I have absolutely no idea what to do.

I realize that I sort of spewed a lot of information, but even if someone could give me a link dealing specifically with settings or something, that would be amazing. I have no problem doing the work, I just have no idea where to start for good, current information.

I post 48h auctions every time and just forget them. Periodically, I check WoWuction's Bargain Hunter, run TSM and Auctionator's Xmog shopping lists to buy newer items to sell.

They move pretty slow, but with huge profits. For me, it's a post-and-leave market.

I sell mostly rare recipes, but also have a couple dozen transmog items. I wrote an addon that will price and post items to the AH based on TUJ's global market median and standard deviation. Items get a bid price of median + 10% of stddev, buy price of median + 25% of stddev. This keeps prices in the ballpark and I don't have to concentrate on whether prices are reasonable. Plus, for a little added flair, prices get rounded to 3 significant figures, so they don't look like a mess from an addon and are plausibly from my just typing in a price. Actually, I just walk up to the AH, move the scrollwheel about, and watch my items get posted.

Where can I find this addon?! I sell a ton of rare recipes and I ended up just setting my fallback to 200% of WoWuction region market value because I didn't want to have to think about it anymore. I've wanted rounding for so long ;_; (And not just for recipes!)

Attached to this post. Type /tujpost to post one item. I made a "macro" with that, then bound it to scrollwheel on my bank alt. Only posts unstackable items. Requires the TUJ addon.

If you get Lua errors from that version, try the version attached to this post. The script I run has extra stuff I didn't completely clean out of the release version, so this version should work better.

I tried it out today on my bank alt that handles my recipes. Worked great for about 10 items, then it suddenly stopped working. I logged out, back in, and it worked for 1 item, then was unresponsive again.

After disabling TSM and Auctionator just in case of incompatibility issues, I get this error every time I open the AH:
