Thread: Finally figured a way to use all the nexus crystals from MC runs

I'm fairly new to the economic game and have been doing really well selling enchants both cataclysm and Legacy/heirloom. (started patch 4.3 and made a killing in the first few weeks) I'm not sure if this little trick has been mentioned before on previous threads but just incase i thought i might mention it.
So I've been running MC weekly on my enchanter and have ended up with ALOT of [Nexus Crystal] in the bank and they sell for around 50s on my server (next to nothing) through the use of some jiggery pokery eg. Nexus Transformation they can be turned into [Small Prismatic Shard] and from there turned into [Large Prismatic Shard] with the enchant by the same name. the reason i mention this is because i'm selling ALOT of enchants at the moment and several require the aforementioned materials. in the past i'd been using Void Shatter to get my prismatics but the prices of void crystals seems to be alot less consistant that of nexus.

The vender price of the items from clasic instances is > then the price of the nexus crystal (or small prismatics in the case of aq) so its better to pick up the items then sell them to a vender from those places.

wow your absolutely right... although that brings about an interesting adendum (i think thats the right word to use).
Considering the price of those Nexus Crystals on the AH you could conceivably buy them dirt cheap and use the same process to turn them into whichever small or large prismatic shards. obviously your mileage will vary depending on your server prices but its something to keep in mind if you find yourself short in supply

Just keep in mine this takes a staggering amount of time to run the Nexus Crystals through both processes. AFK crafter is AFK, however, and I'm not going to pass up a few stacks of Nexus Crystals at 5s each.

I was Thinking of Picking up Sage Blade Pattern from the ah, figured mats would cost ~250-400g and could easily sell the blade for 3k-5k each
