Hi! I just downloaded the addon, and it looks great, but I already have a suggestion. I was using WoWEcon before, and I miss one feature of that: it would grey out items that don't have a bid yet. Any chance of implementing that in the Journal? I would be most grateful.

As far as I understand, the Deals page uses average market price on all realms as the criterion for a deal. My realm is far from average, and I tend to see the same non-deals over and over on this page. Most days, the only real deals that I see are in the "Bids" section, which uses a same-realm criterion. Would you please make a version of the Deals page that is based on the average-over-time of recent sales or the average-over-time of the minimum buy price on the same realm?

I've occasionally been asked for the ability to ignore sellers (usually alts) when triggering notifications. I guess it's no use when you want to know when someone posts a rare recipe, when that someone is one of your alts. :)

Anyway, I finally stuck my head in that thicket of notification code, made some sense of it again, and put together a solution. It's not live yet, and I'd like some people to try it out to make sure it works as expected.

If you're interested in being a part of this (short) beta, log in to The Undermine Journal, and send me a note via the Contact page. You'll need to be a current subscriber of the notification service to participate. I welcome any comments and suggestions on it here.

Hello there,

as it seems, the "Current potential low bids" section is not showing up for me on non-english language realms - is this intended or simply an error? I looked at the thread about saving server memory, but it said that the "great deals" section would be kept intact. I checked it for a few realms now and english-language EU realms have the low bids-section while, for example, german language EU realms do not have it.

So, what are you looking for that you don't find at The Undermine Journal? The "projected market price" that uses a linear projection seems interesting, but I'm not sure it's more useful. The method used to guess sold items is a little more robust than what we estimate at The Undermine Journal, although you'll still never know about those which were posted and sold between scans. I suppose similar methods could be implemented in TUJ if you think those sold stats are significantly more accurate and useful.

What do you think? Is TUJ still filling your AH stats needs? Anything we can do better?
