I guess it's no use when you want to know when someone posts a rare recipe, when that someone is one of your alts. :)

Anyway, I finally stuck my head in that thicket of notification code, made some sense of it again, and put together a solution. It's not live yet, and I'd like some people to try it out to make sure it works as expected.

I looked at the thread about saving server memory, but it said that the "great deals" section would be kept intact. I checked it for a few realms now and english-language EU realms have the low bids-section while, for example, german language EU realms do not have it.

So, what are you looking for that you don't find at The Undermine Journal? The "projected market price" that uses a linear projection seems interesting, but I'm not sure it's more useful. The method used to guess sold items is a little more robust than what we estimate at The Undermine Journal, although you'll still never know about those which were posted and sold between scans. I suppose similar methods could be implemented in TUJ if you think those sold stats are significantly more accurate and useful.
