Is it better to export the 20 or so groups I want to keep?

Hi two questions:

1) I swtiched over to the desktop app, which I am now using in place of scanning daily. I'm new to TSM and I am still posting enchanting mats using appraiser since it typically posts above market value. As you can see from the screenshot below and my current settings, appraiser is only posting at the current market value. Is there a way to reconfigure appraiser using the Wowuction data to post above market value? I've been searching and I changed my settings, however as you can see below, Appraiser is only posting at the current market price.
http://imgur.com/R1vgyK7

2) I've done an okay job getting started with Gold Making (i'm making about $100k per mo currently, just using my own strategies), however I would like to take it to the next level. I'm spending a lot of time reading, which got me to thinking. Is there opportunity cost from all the reading I'm doing when I could potentially pay someone (real $ of course) to get everything setup and configured correctly so I can spend more time making gold rather than reading about making gold? I'd be curious if any of the big hitters offer any such service.

Not tin itself, but Bronze and Moss Agate.

I've been having a pretty lucrative time smelting Bronze, but often find myself with a high imbalance between my Copper and Tin supply, so I've started to prospect for Moss Agate whenever I end up with too much Tin and Moss Agate prices are worth selling.

Now my question:

You get a bunch of other gems from prospecting Tin too, so what do you guys do with them?

On my server they all seem to be less than a gold (sometimes Shadow Gems are higher) so I'm too lazy to post then on the AH.

Yesterday, I leveled Enchanting and Alchemy to level 600. I might also level inscription if necessary. My Jewelcrafting is 600 already.
I've heard that the best way to make some good gold is the '' AH-Shuffle ''.

Anyway, straight to the point, a friend of mine recommended me to use TSM, so I downloaded it. Tho, I have no idea how to set it up! And what it does... lmao :D
I was wondering if someone could help me setting this up and maybe explain why this addon is really helpfull with JC Alch and Ench.

I understand that for the TSM app to notify you of deals you must setup a Dealfinding List in the Shopping module. Therein lies the problem. I am getting notifications via the app toast popups BUT... I have no dealfinding lists that are visible in the shopping module.

Now with that said the notifications that I receive are valid. The dealfinding lists were setup at some time in the past and it is for those items that the app is reporting. But the lists on which they are based are gone. They are older items and I would frankly like to delete the items from the reporting structure and setup new.

Please advise.

Often, the potential of goldmaking strategies are given in terms of ROI - how much you get in return on the gold you invest, in terms of a percentage...

Often, the potential of goldmaking strategies are given in terms of ROI - how much you get in return on the gold you invest, in terms of a percentage figure. I believe, in many cases, that's the wrong way to look at it. Only if your amount of gold is what really limits you the ROI has relevance. This can typically be the case for a new character on a server. Particularly for participating in high-volume markets through manufacturing ROI quickly lose relevance. This goes for gems, glyphs and enchants. Gold per hour can be somewhat more useful, but I think there is a big difference in spending time at the mailbox collecting 1000 mails, during which you can be afk, and spending time milling or prospecting - which is boring and have RSI potential. Gold per hour works well for farming - if held up against the subjective boredom/enjoyment of it.

I believe thinking more towards gold per click is better. Interesting is also sales per AH trip, since it is easier to measure and gives a directly interpretable number.

I'm sure you, and everyone else that have made some effort towards goldmaking, are all aware of this and think along this line when strategies are reviewed. I have just not seen it mentioned.

Hi guys, though not currently being active in the glyph market, I have been earlier. The problem with glyph selling is how to reduce the number of glyphs you market down to a manageable number. Wouldn't it be great to be able to pick out the 144 (3x36) most profitable glyphs so you could repost without visiting the bank?

My strategy was to check the price scatterplot on the undermine journal, look at the right tail, and remove those that tended to have a low price.
Shimmering ink glyphs I eventually gave up - they were very popular and sold alot, but prices rarely climbed much higher than 20g.

Since glyph prices fluctuate so much, the most robust way of picking glyphs would be to post all equally for, say, two months, set a treshold for how much money you want for your milling keyclicks and pick those that would generate the most profit. Depending on the threshold this wouldn't have to be the ones selling for the highest average price, as cheaper ones could generate more profit through higher sales.

I recently entered the market for mop enchants. Choosing which ones to stay away from is easy - the crafting cost is less click dependant, the price floor is pretty equal across realms due to the vendor value of jewelry and wowuction region prices, I believe, gives a pretty good indicator of whether you should craft the enchant or not.

TL;DR: What do you believe is a practical strategy in choosing which glyphs to focus on?

[General] Assigning Value to BOP Mats

I generally use TSM to tell me whether the difference between the price of mats and the current selling prices of the crafted item make it worthwhile...

I generally use TSM to tell me whether the difference between the price of mats and the current selling prices of the crafted item make it worthwhile to craft. The only problem with this system is that some mats are BOP (farmed or dailies) and so have no AH value - this is a problem for TSM. I figure that the solution is to utilize TSM's great "user assigned price" for these items. This is where I would like some advice. How are you setting the prices for these items and how well is it working for you? Off the top of my head I am talking about Spirits of Harmony, Lightning Steel Ingots, and Imperial Silk (I don't have LW and don't know what the equivalent item is there).

Now Phat Lewts has suggested using the "Spirit of Harmony Equivalent Value" (found in the elementals area of TUJ) for this- tying the SOH to the highest value for items that you could get for it by trading it to a vendor. Does this work for you guys? It is an intriguing proposition.

The other two items are not as easy to figure out. Of course, each has some actual mats, and there should probably be some additional value put on them for burning the CD. Again, I could use some advice. Thanks.

I followed the guide to a T, and everything worked fine. But now all my glyphs say "Item value -----" "Profit ------". I can't make heads or tails of what I did wrong. It's like the addon isn't recognizing that you need inks or to mill to make the glyphs. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I would like my crafting queue to use that current market value to determine what items to craft. I've noticed that the actual current market value does not match up with the Wowuction Realm Market value. I've included an example of Living Steel Belt Buckles.

Currently I have not found a tool that will do this without issues.

I have used http://goblineeringtools.herokuapp.c...accounting_csv for a while, but found iregularities in the data export. For instance I am not getting any purchase stats for Kyparite.

I have also tried http://stormspire.net/official-trade...port-tool.html which doesn't give any Kyparite stats either.

This led me to believe my TSM_Accounting module was not picking up on the data or the LUA file might be corrupted. That is not the case. The data is in TSM ingame and using http://stormspire.net/official-trade...sion-tool.html it seems the data is there. The problem with the last tool is the fact it adds spaces after the comma separator which gives leading spaces in fields when importing into excel. I have my own workaround to fix this (open the file in a normal text editor and doing a find replace on ", " to "," but I would like to know if there is another tool without these issues?
