That's killing the hopes of many people to make some money on the ah, and i hope it's only for testing/beta purposes. I could see a point with it being 50 or 100 to avoid someone flooding the ah with stacks of 1 for ridiculous amounts or for posting stacks of useless materials (never underestimate a person's stupidity) but 10 seems too low.
I still haven't seen the crafting system or the rmah myself, since i'm not in the beta, but if it's anything like i've seen in videos/threads it's way too low considering there will be mats and such and items that can be used/sold in stacks.
while we're bitching about AH limitations. I feel the need to call out that you cannot cancel an auction. You need to wait for the full 24 hours to play out before being able to relist the product at a lower price, or replace that spot with a higher value product.
Both the limited number of auctions and the fact that you cannot cancel is an advantage to me.
I hated managing 500+ auctions in WoW, so this means quality over quantity.
I am sure a lot of prospective goblins will post 10 * random Rare item and not sell. Why they are hoping to cash in big on few good items, I will focus on auctions that will actually sell. I like the concept of the limitation; now you should only post at a price where you expect to sell.

they have to do something like that at release to, otherwise D3 would turn in a huge cash-laundry for mobsters and druglords...
This is a per-account limitation. So my 2 accounts will mean I can sell 20 per day......
With no monthly fees, the only limit here is shelling out the $60 for an additional account.... which will get cheaper as time passes by.
