  • The Consortium Shuffler - Now Includes Herb Shuffling!

    I've modified the Shuffling Spreadsheet to include the shuffling of herbs, inks, Darkmoon Cards and glyphs. The spreadsheet also takes into account the opportunity of selling Darkmoon rep (ie: having someone turn in the deck for you). I used the same layout as the Ore shuffling page. Of course, as this it the first released version of the sheet, it may contain bugs and miscalculations.

    That said, your feedback and testing is definitely appreciated!

    The GPH seems a little higher than Ore shuffling, but it's a little hard to gauge these kind of things on paper. Using my server prices, I'm seeing about 4.5k GPH. Not too shabby! Here are the links to the spreadsheet, these are also found on page 1:

    >> Download link, for the latest version of excel. <<
    >> Download link, for silly willies using excel 2003. <<
    >> Google Docs link, so that you don't get fired for downloading stuff. << (kinda messy, loss of formatting)

    The sheet contains both shufflers, click the tab labeled Milling at the bottom of the page.

      I'm currently making a fortune in Mysterious Fortune Cards. Would you consider adding these to the spreadsheet as well? And maybe a check whether using your Blackfallow Ink to create Glyphs, Fortune Cards or trading them for Inferno Ink provides the highest benefit.
      Also wanted to say that I really love your spreadsheet. Been making smaller ones for my own use for some time, but yours are so much better and more complete

      Have you thought about adding blue gem transmutes into the prospecting sheet?

      I added a small section myself since all the data was already setup basically, but I don't know enough excel to add it all the profit calculations and the recommendations part.

      Anyone have any thoughts on this?

      Sadly not working properly for those of us using OpenOffice. Profit/Stack returns with '#MACRO' and '#NAME?' errors. I suspect it's because of different use/interpretations of various punctuation marks. Will have a look, or if anyone else possibly has a fix it.

      Is there an updated version of the Google spreadsheet to reflect WoW 4.1?
      Or some hints how to correct it?
      I found "9" hardcoded in column G and X (g15, x15)? any other places where it could be lurking?

      Done. 16 cells edited.

      I was thinking of trying to make an OpenOffice compatible sheet - would there be any interest in it? (And, would it be permissible to basically copy/paste everything and just edit the formulas as needed?)

      I am working on the sheet today and hope to have the wrinkles ironed out by Friday.

      Edited to add: I'm also putting a Leather tab in there, since I do a lot of converting on my LW... hopefully it will convert to Excel just fine, as well.

      Has the spreadsheet been updated to reflect the change in the vendor price of cut gems?

      Internet has been wonky this weekend - I apologize for the delay. I will provide a docs.google link which can be downloaded to OpenOffice as soon as things smooth out. Tonight, hopefully.

      I think this should do it... GoogleDoc Link Just go to File > Download As > OpenOffice if you want to open it in OO.

      If anyone is interested - the main change was just changing the "iferror=((y/x);0)" formulas which were throwing errors into:
      Code:
       =IF(x>0; y/x; "0")
      I don't know if this will work for Excel, but one can hope. I also added a small Leather/Cloth conversion tab. You can always ignore it if you don't need.

      If there are any errors, please let me know and I'll do my best to fix it.

      Just noticed, the DE result percentages for Jasper rings dust and GCE's equate to 98%
      F48=67%
      F49=31%

      could be an entry error

      Probably for heavenly shards. I don't remember where I got the DE ratios, but they were the best I could find.

      Note: If anyone could help me pull data from TUJ into this spreadsheet, I'd be most grateful. My programming days are long gone and I have no idea how to proceed.

      It was about time for a major update on the spreadsheet, so I put in a few hours and implemented some user-requested features. The milling sheet is probably next.

      Changes include;
      • Now shows profit from gem transmutes.
      • Now shows profit from Heavenly Shard disenchants through Stormforged Shoulders.
      • Color-coded some cells to make it easier on the eyes.
      • Removed the %increase and abs increase columns. The max column is now conditionally formatted, and should provide enough information regarding new uncommon gem prices through shuffling.

      As always, there will be bugs, so be sure to report them here and I'll do my best to fix them. Any feature requests will also be considered .

      Spreadsheet available on this centralized download page.

      Done. I needed to save it as a .zip file in order to upload, and I am one of those silly willys using excel 2003 (work comp, and we are behind the times, technologically ), so you will probably want to reformat everything in the other versions, but the cell lookup should work the same.

      Instructions for importing your own data:

      1) Save your xml data to your computer (if anyone wants more detailed instructions about this, let me know)
      2) In the SS, go to the 'TUJ Data' tab and select all cells (top left corner where the rows and columns intersect)
      3) Press 'delete'
      4) Click 'yes' when the prompt asks you if you want to remove the query as well
      5) Go to Data>Import External Data>Import Data (see Screenshot)

      6) Select the file from wherever you saved it
      7) Enjoy!

      NOTE: Due to the large size of the file, it will take a fair amount of time to import everything.

      Sterling, I also added lookups for the Milling sheet as well. I might have missed some, but hopefully you get the idea for the syntax from the ones I included.

      Let me know if you had any questions about that.

      EDIT: It is telling me that the file is too big to upload, let me know if there is some other way of sending it to you

      EDIT: Uploaded the link here: http://breakthebankwow.com/data/Cons....3_withTUJ.zip - still a .zip file for security purposes.
