Depending on your server, this has been my biggest money maker...Anything that doesn't move on horde side? Move it over to alliance and sell it for 2x the profits. On thrall the alliance side is pretty dead but as long as you're patient you can usually sell something for the price you want to sell it for. There is a lot less competition too, I only have to repost 2-3 times a day instead of 5-10.

One thing to bear in mind with the update from Cata to MoP is how much gating exists in the game now and how un-alt friendly the game has become.

Cannot agree. Im starting to make decent gold on Alchemy Transmutes (With transmutation spec). How?

Buying cheap ores (120 x ~1,5 is 180-200g) -> Bars -> Trillium Bars (PROCS!) -> Living Steel (PROCS!).
For the cost of around 200g, I create item worth 400-500g. What is better, I can get up to 5 L.Steel in one cd.
Calculation time. Im aiming for 6 Alchemists on my main account, all with Transmute Spec.

200g x 6 is 1200. 400/500 x 6 is 2400/3000. Its 1200/1800 (up to few k's) of pure profit every day. 1400/1800x30 is?
42k / 52k per month.
In realistic scenario, you will net around 100k per month (or even more), because of l. steel procs. Add trillium procs (cheaper steels) -> MORE PROFIT!

Now tell me, how long are you playing MoP, and do a quick math

Another profession, with daily Cd -> Inscription. Still possible to make decent gold, just for a few minutes with a few clicks every day.

As it stands, many servers have seen the shuffle markets dry up. Too much early supply coupled with low demand (is it just me or are there less sockets in the blue items this expansion?) caused a flood of cut gems that weren't worth jack.

For your options, I would start by looking at the crafted 450 tanking or PvP sets. These sets generally sell well because they're a quick 450 item for fresh 90's looking to boost ilvl quickly from leveling. I know the cloth sets have cratered in price, but the blacksmithing and leatherworking sets generally sell very well. The caveat? You need to have SoH to buy the plans, so you would have to get at least one character to 90 for efficient SoH generation.

Since you have leatherworking and tailoring, check out the leg armor and spellthread markets. Leatherworking is cheap this expansion, and if your server is like mine, you can turn a spellthread and a couple leg armors for 1k a day profit.

Search daily for items to flip in the AH. Negotiate with people in trade, get better prices for the items, then send them to another alt to re-list higher.

Other people have mentioned transmog, but I advise you to be very careful before getting deep into that. Most fresh mog sellers make the early mistake of buying every green item prices under 20g and listing it for hundreds or thousands, and they end up eating multiple hundred gold per day in AH fees while barely selling a thousand gold worth of items. Learn your market!

Another sect of items to look into are the "must have" items. People leveling, especially after 80, need better gear and weapons. I personally do very well with gear that fills the 77-83 gap until people start equipping 384 greens from MoP. My personal favorite is to farm BRC for [Toxidunk Dagger] which I can sell for 800-1k per dagger. A full run only takes me about 10 minutes and I also generate lots of greens and cloth, plus shards.

Enchants aren't the only profit option for an enchanter. On many servers, [Large Brilliant Shard] sells for 20-50g *each*, making them extremely profitable to farm in BRS/BRD. Price them well and they FLY out of the AH.

I have to point that part. 250 stacks is 5000 ore. Actually, Im prospecting 1000-2000 stacks for 2/3 weeks. In that time, Im able to sell every product which I receive from shuffle, and earn fantastic profit. I have been inspired by THIS thread on mmo-champion. Guy posting there is showing what you could sell, and how to do it. By using this informations you can make a good start in a BIG shuffle. Good luck
