    Making Gold In MOP

Hello, Ive recently been having trouble coming back to the game after leaving for 2months.
Im extremely lost in the new xpac and the only thing ive started is the JC Ghost Iron Shuffle.
I have a 525 enchanter, 525 Xmute Alchy, 525 Miner, 600 JC and 525 Scribe. i have around 5k gold to use because i keep 7.5k away incase i loose the 5k in a bad way.
To gain gold recently ive been selling Netherweave bolts for 90g a stack, old Cata enchants and nothing else.
Any recomendations would be helpful because no matter what i put on the AH it never sells even if its alone.
Also what days do you guys recommend me to post most of my auctions so i dont waste too much money on the posting fees for stuff that wont sell. thanks!

So, I think the first question to ask is, what are you hoping to sell? You seem to have a lot of the professions covered, but with your shuffle, are you looking to sell raw enchanting mats, scrolls, jewelry... what? Also, with your transmute, are you selling your cool down or using it? A lot of those answers will affect when you should post things!
Realise the impotence of proof reading everything you publish!

If you really want to sell things then keeping them on the AH is important, some undercutting to stay on the sell line on highly liquid consumables like the gems from your shuffle is essential imo.

I have had poor luck with bigger items so far, but find the best sales are either just after reset when people are scrabbling for ilvls or getting new gear or on weekends when the servers are most busy.

While you have 5k to invest I would personally stick with the shuffle for a bit and keep your items up and at the line, the risk is low and the goods are easily moved, I assume you are also moving Living Steel (maybe as buckles) and Primal Diamonds? these are big sellers for me.

If you notice the only profession at max is his JC. I would reccomend sticking with what you have been selling and also start shuffling. The blue rings sell for me pretty much the same all week. You will want to level up your enchanter next. You can either cut your gems or post your blue rings on the AH, and use any old world enchanting materials along with enchanting mats you can get from D/E ing the MOP green rings to level your enchanter up. (I would suggest the latter)
Once you get your enchanter to max level you can look to using your enchanting mats to make scrolls to sell. Generally these sell best during the middle of the week (ah fees are minimal on these, so I would recommend just posting them all week long) (Also be sure to save the blue gems your alchemist will need to transmute primal diamonds)

Once you have some steady gold coming in I would suggest leveling alchemy next. You will be able to make some nice gold from transmuting primal diamonds, and using your daily living steel cool down.

Once that is done I would suggest leveling your scribe.

JC has been an interesting market on my server. It's fairly low pop server but I've found that my JC profit is based more on posting strategy than anything else.

I post gems once a day when I get home from work around 5-6 pm. I list for only 12 hours. I post most heavily on Tues, Wed, Fri, and Sat. Posting earlier and my auctions get undercut; post later and I miss the heavy playtime window in the evening.

I've found that I have a large enough impact on the price of gems that by making sure all of my auctions expire and are off the AH for a few hours everyday it keeps the cost of gems up.

I also price based on the color of the gem...most people are intelligent enough to realize that the 500g "stormy" gem is costing the crafter that same as the 50g "solid" gem and won't buy what's obviously a gouged price. This does mean I sometimes undercut by hundreds of gold because I know the gem won't sell at the listed price. Make your own spreadsheet or download one from this site and figure out what your price points need to be to make what you determine to be an acceptable profit. Gouge a little when you can, but if you get to greedy you just won't sell anything.

Even with all of this, I rarely see more than 25%-20% of my posted gems sell even on Tues nights when the largest section of the population sees gear upgrades. Be diligent with selling and your stock will eventually move.

Rarely bother with any of the cut gems unless they are very close in price to the uncut or I need to shift some quantity, reds seem to sell well, blues I have a huge excess stock.

Didn't note the JC only maxed, Jerry said all there is to be said really, JC is a gift start as so long as you remember the basic "buy low, sell high" you will make a steady profit, I would however look at the prices of enchants v.s. mats on your server, I have found that enchants I sell very few and am in hard competition, the raw mats sell to a much wider market and for the slight mark down I sell many many more.
