Thread: CRZ Affecting Auction House?

Two things happened today that were very frustrating.

First, Dalaran. It is my favorite city in the game and the Magus Commerce Exchange has what I believe to be the best AH in the game. Its proximity to every profession vendor, the mailbox, the anvil, and the frozen orb vendor make it so convenient. The other amazing thing about Dalaran is unlike the ridiculously overcrowded SW(on my server), Dalaran has been a place I could go with no lag and full speed mailbox retrieval. As of today though that has begun to change. Now Dalaran has been a CRZ(cross-realm zone) for a good while now but Blizzard must have tweaked something because Dalaran was absolutely PACKED with people tonight. I thought I went back in time to Wrath. Needless to say this is very irksome and has begun to 'cause some minor lag issues I'm not happy about.

Second, and more importantly, CRZ seems to affect the AH in a very very annoying way right now. If I check my auctions in Dalaran to see what has sold, it will not display the sales queue(pending sales that haven't been sent to your mailbox yet). I have to go to SW since it is not a CRZ to actually check up on my sales. This is beyond annoying as this one-two punch from Blizz has me really frustrated with CRZ.

Has anyone else experienced either of these things? If so, particularly with the disappearing sales queue, please ticket Blizz about it so they do something. I want my Dalaran back!

@Argalin .. you sure it's not one of your add-ons bugging for some reason? I'm still able to see my pending auction sales when in Dalaran. I did have some major add-on issues with the new patch, but that seems to be fixed now with my updates.

I'll double check again tomorrow and make sure, but I'm pretty sure I could see pending auction sales earlier today in Dalaran.

Yeah, it's CRZ. Addon's don't cause this issue.

I normally hang out in Undercity (its just my favorite place + no lag is great) but they CRZ merged my sever with BLACKROCK.... I used to play on Blackrock for two years and I remembered it was quite full, so I GTFO.. now I don't know where to go

It seems any area on a server that is below a specified numbers of players is a CRZ zone. I would assume if you could get a ton of people from your own server in Dalaran, it wouldn't be crz'd anymore.. just a guess, though. On my high pop everything but Stormwind/Pandalands are CRZ'd.

You know what's even empty-er than Dalaran? Ironforge. No idea why the bots don't use that place these days for AHing, no one would mess with them.

I would use IF, but the mailbox is just so far away from the auctioneers in comparison.
