Thread: Back to AH. Need advice

Good evening, my fellow Goblins!
It happened that i took a vacation from the game, and now as i am back i no longer have track on AH. Couldn't you please help me to get involved again?
I used to control transmogrification and rare recipes markets on my server, but now almost all transmog-things i had was destroyed, as it was left in in-game mail (i had no time to save all those thousands of things in Guildbanks when i was leaving the game). Yet, most of the recipes were safe. I also have some amount of Cata-!!реагентов!! (some crazy amount of Hypnotic Dust is also lost in mailbox, trying to return it with the help of GMs).
I have 2 accounts and all professions at 525lvl. Most craft-professions has all/almost all existing recipes learned.

Also in Cata i used to stock pets to sell in Pandaria, but as i looked through the AH i noticed that their price not only didn't rise, but somehow fell. What shall i do with it? Shall i keep the pets till better times come, or shall i sell them at this low price?

I understand that the 1st i have to do is to upgrade my professions to 600lvl, but now i have only 300k (at the end of Cata i gave most of my money to my girlfriend, so she could buy raid mounts) and i can't let myself level all my profession at once. Shall i start with shuffle, as with a tested method? Does it work as well as before, and are there any changes in it since Cata?

I will be grateful for any help, and for any additional information i didn't thought of asking for! TIA.

I reckon you should start with a ghost iron ore shuffle (Jewlcrafting and Alchemy)
-make jewelry, sell the blue ones, DE the green(not sure what enchanting level you need, but 525 should be ok)
-transmute primal diamonds and cut them(only if the cuts/primals are profitable)
-cut the uncommon gems left over and vendor the non perfects while selling the perfects.

This should bring you a nice income depending on the prices of your server, it might be slow, but its a cheap way of starting out.

I would also recommend you level your inscription as its very cheap to level, start off by making darkmoon cards as the fare isnt that far away (though im not sure how they will sell with the new trinkets in 5.1)

Not sure how you would go with enchanting as the mop ones require reputation from mop factions.

Transmog market is a good one to get into as well but don't rely on it as a 'main source'

I can't help you with the rest, but as someone else who had a few pets saved up expecting some tidy profit, my best advice is to have amnesia. Forget what you paid for them and what they used to be worth because all that's out the window now. Take a few days at least and check the prices on your server as well as a couple similar ones to get a feel for the new prices and find yourself the average and then sell in that range.

While it's true that some of the most desired enchant recipes are locked up behind reputation grinds (as Argalin said), the majority of enchants are just plain trainable. My enchanter is still 85, and probably my most consistently profitable crafter.

Interesting. I know that they're making MoP rep grinds faster once any of your toons hit revered, but hadn't heard about this.
