Yah there are lots of neat things you can do to mess with campers...if it's as bad as you say then what he's doing is also entirely illegal. Although there are some great suggestions here, skip that noise and report it.

Up in the sky with demand to supply, I am necessity, base of the recipe. I'm the rain.
Hi, i have a similar situation with a very annoying camper.
Tuj shows the player is posting 21-22h a day. When i post anything he undercuts within minutes.
He has been dominating glyph markets now for a while and i was shocked to notice that now he is expanding to enchant mats as well.
I looked up his history in armory and there was few months period that this toon was inactive. I suspect that its sold account. This history show that the toon was a pvp twink before that activity pause. I reported with data collected, and i got so fast response i think it was picked by keywords to some automated response que.
Since i transefferred realms, finding new markets will mean that i have to build new alt... Im not happy camper myself atm.
Oh and i did drop the markets to point of no real profits with big undercut attack... But it didnt help.

On my server (overpopulated) this is 100% not working, I get undercut within the first 5 hours by at least 10 different persons on all cata enchanting scrolls. Without permanent babysitting my auctions won't survive 10 - 15 minutes, and almost none of them will sell within 48h. I checked one of my competitors, he is active approximately 20 hours EACH day. I also checked his statistics in game, he is almost gold capped (statistics --> most gold ever owned), so this is srs business for him.
The only method that seems to somewhat work is stealth undercutting (not undercutting buyout, but undercutting bid). I do this with heavenly shards, and I sell them for like 80 gold (one costs me less than 30g to make), when there are hundreds of them with a buyout of 60 gold or less. This works well with heavenly shards, cause I can post 100 - 200 of them and therefore pushing away all competitors from the first two pages of the auction house. This "trick" works when someone is looking for heavenly shards without an AH addon. Can't do that with enchating scrolls, can't afford like 50 or 100 Landslides and so on.
Eventually, and assuming that competitors aren't dumb, the one with more time will win, which is a natural thing.
There is an AH camper who is online during peak times doing nothing but undercutting with one gem. I suspected him of using a bot as he went back and forth in the same pattern and stood in the same places. I followed him around all evening. He apparently figured it out and did not like it. I followed him back and forthbetween the two AHs in Stormwind. Then I followed him to Dalaran. He was trying to hid at the AH near the Justice point vendors. I then followed him back to SW and back to Dalaran. He finally went to the Exodar lol.
I appreciate all the feedback guys! I notice a lot of the advice being given to me is regarding glyphs. My problem is with gems...and it is very costly to cancel and repost to undercut him, so I've been cutting extra gems and just posting them to undercut him..but now it's below my floor and I'm losing money on these gems...and it's adding up to more than I like to lose and I'm starting to feel uncomfortable.
Does your advice change at all when I specify this is the cut gem market? (both me and him deal in all the rare cuts) I also have confirmed that he is really a new player in the AH. A friend of mine that "owned" the gem market before he switched servers told me he has never seen that person before...hmmmm.
Milestones: 10.02.2011: 100k / 09.06.2011: 500k / 21.07.2011: 750k / 10.08.2011: Goldcap! / 28.03.2012: GBank at goldcap - 2 million fluid!

That is not dead which can eternal lie.
And with strange aeons even death may die
I don't always undercut 1 gem, they seem to move in bunches. Just be the 5 or more behind this gem.
Also, following a guy around is bad for your gph, dont obsess over him. Take what you can from the market at whatever price is comfortable for you, and spend that extra time on diversifying.
Nothing comes merely by thinking about it.
Update: Ok so I've tried everything I can think of so far...and the situation has already gotten WORSE...not just with him now, but with other posters. Example: Reckless Ember Topaz: I post at 67g, Camper posts at 66g99s99c, AH Poster 3 posts at 51g, AH Poster 4 posts at 37g. And this is happening with EVERY gem....people are undercutting from 90g for a gem down to 30g. I'm ready to do something drastic...it may blow up in my face but I'm not making ANY sales right now so I'm losing money no matter what (and I have a feeling these undercutters WONT let the prices raise after the patch). I'm going to post all my inferno cuts at 100g, my Ember and Demon cuts at 20g, and the cheap cuts at 8g....and in walls.... and then see what these guys do. If they keep undercutting like this I'll buy them out and save for hte patch....or I'll sell my gems and make back part of the 40k gold I've lost to this situation.
What do you guys think? Terrible idea? Should I just wait for the patch and risk them not letting prices raise? Or should I go forward with this plan and see what happens? I WILL lose gold doing this b/c ore is going for 70g+ per stack right now. Opinions?
