    Great Lovely Charm Farmspot

Hi there peeps, not sure if this post should be under farming or seasonal, but here you have it. If you plan on farming Lovely Charms ive found that several spots in icecrown around aldurthar (52,30) and also mord'rethar seems to be absolutely top notch for getting these charms. Specific mobs im talking about is cult researchers, they are inside in big rooms with a floating crystal in the middle. You should be able to easily pull 15-20 of these and just aoe them down quick (~10k hp)

anyhow whether you are getting these for the achievement or selling them for cool cash i think this might be the easiest way to obtain them

Edit: forgot to mention that the respawn rate inthere is very quick, so theres probably no reason to go elsewere

37,24 in icecrown also has a nice amount of mobs with decent respawn times. I'll give your spot a go.

    Icecrown - 200/30 mins - At hyacinthe's spot as a lvl 85 frost dk.

Deepholm - 200/30 mins - Stone bats & Jaspertip Swarmers - I enjoyed it a lot more, with my Howling blast. They're all 1 hit. They seemed to converge at 35,38.

The necklaces can not be sold on the AH this year so be prepared to spam trade if you are farming these.

The timing to sell these is probably best now, since some of the dailies are bugged for level 85s, and they will have to farm more for them, or right near the end of the event. I went and grabbed 400 or so from the stone bats and jaspertip swarmers, since I fear they will be hotfixed. Sold 20 for 600g, probably could have gotten more, but not a bad effort.

Edit - The bracelets can now be auctioned, not entirely surprising since it has happened with other items before. Makes me wonder if they also hotfixed the bats / swarmers.

Normally I edit my post if I am the last one to reply, but I feel this is important enough to warrant a bump. The bracelets are NOT AH'able using the in game auction house interface; however, you CAN post them using the remote AH interface. Gives you a nice advantage of both not having to spam trade, which is both time consuming and attracts the "why would you pay 40g for that" crowd.

This is a fantastic tip. I've been buying them through trade for ~30g, logging out and posting them from the RAH for 120g.

Another easy farming spot is the slags in Halls of Lightning. Super fast respawn, really easy to kill and they give charms at level 85. I was able to get a bracelet every 1-2 minutes this way, at first. I noticed that there might be diminishing returns on how many you can get, however. On successive passes through the slags, I was getting less each time. I got 7-8 each pass the first few times through, then five or six, the four, the last couple times I only got 2 (at that point I got the Charming achievement on my DK and left). So, there may be a sort of built in cooldown on how many you can get.

Edit: A bump for my previous post also, I've been selling these successfully at 200g each now.

Sadly the charms are going dirt cheap on my server and not worth the time to farm them. I've seen people selling 10 of them for as low as 20g... that's 20g total, not each. The curse of being on a high pop server I guess. Too many people on my server have gold making on the mind and ventures like this become flooded with sellers extremely fast. Oh well, on to the next idea.
