    Jewelcrafting - Disenchanting Shuffle

When people say they make jewelry and destroy it what jewelry in particular are they referring to? Blue quality or green quality? Do certain items shard better? I would love some help with this - amateur goblin here.

They are referring to two items:

    both Green and Blue
    both Green and Blue

The greens get DE'ed, and either sold as mats, or further converted into scrolls/enchants. Blues can also be processed the same way, but sometimes are sold directly on the AH. What you do with the Blues is a factor of the prices of those items on the AH, and your population. So you'll have to decide if it's worth it.

So for example, Shards selling for 50g but the Blues selling for 25g means I would likely be better off DEing the blue to make the Shards. On most servers (mine included) converting dusts to shards is not a profitable process.

Again this depends on your server economy. The s aren't use for much. Sometimes I'll make the JC 450 jewelry such as , or they can be used to make Panthers. But you will have an excess of s sitting in your bags no matter what.

I have the opposite issue. When I shuffle (which is rare, soooo boring) I need to buy more Serpent's Eyes to keep up with jewelry demand.

As said above it really depends on your server. You might even be able to sell the blue jewelry procs at a profit. I move all my blues to the horde side of my server and sell them at 200-300g each easily.

It would be great to have a guide talking about Shuffle like this: http://www.wowhead.com/guide=805/mak...the-jc-shuffle
    But upgraded to MOP

Yes I know, there is enough information in several threads on this forum .. but having something in one place with some examples would help a lot. I'm starting to make gold and having some difficulties to collect the right information. Would be nice to have something like "JC shuffle for Newbies".

If I make premium subscription? There is some content reserved specifically like this?

    Thanks guys!

Creedence, good idea, but I'm guessing those who would be interested in doing that don't feel the need, and here's why. The guide you linked is EXACTLY the same as MoP, except only the names have changed. Seriously. Take that guide, and just change the name of every Ore, Gem, Jewelry, etc, and replace it with the MoP equivalent. Voila - you've got the MoP guide! Now that you've posted this, I'm considering doing it myself. Just need to change it up so as not to infringe on what Wowhead already did.

    • Instead of buying Obsidium, Elementium or Pyrite Ore, you're doing it with Ghost Iron and Kyparite. (If anyone is shuffling Trillium ore, you're doing it wrong IMO).
    • Prospect all the ore (or some of the ore, and use some for Bar smelts/transmutes).
    • Diversification Option: Save some of the ore and SMELT it into Bars. Then Transmute it into Trillium Bars --> Living Steel
    • Cut the Rare (blue quality) gems (or some of them if you also plan to transmute into Primal Diamonds) -> sell what you cut on the AH.
    • Buy stacks of
    • Make Jewelry - only two things to choose from, or
    • Diversify: Sell some or all of the BLUE Jewelry procs (if they're selling for more than about 25g-30g, you should sell them - generally speaking).
    • Send ALL Green quality jewelry to your Enchanter, along with the Blue jewelry you chose not to sell in the step above - DE into Dusts, Essences, and Shards. (TIP: Make sure your enchanter is in a guild with the Bountiful Bags perk)
    • Diversify: Use some of the enchanting mats to make enchants to sell - use TUJ or WoWuction to find the profitable enchants - Sell on AH
    • Sell the Dusts, Essences, and Shards on the AH
