    X-mute proc rate

    Hi

i guess this is an old subject/topic but i just want to share my "findings" with you.

have been xmuting loads of bars lately (ghost > trillium) my result is the following.

the outcome should have been 821 bars but it became 994. so the bonus is ~21%

i know it is rng but somewhere i've read that it should be around +20% with the spec, is this correct?

so shall one expect about 20% bonus over all when calculating prices/earnings on future xmutes? or is it here i go wrong with the rng?

    sorry for my bad english.

It's the RNG, you'd need a far greater sample size to compute this. I've heard it's 15%, but it is what it is, paying attention to it won't change it. It's worth it whether it's 5% or 35%, so no reason really not to just let it be whatever it is and ignore it.

Absolutely agree with the RNG is RNG and sample size.

OTOH, on my realm the proc is about the profit margin for trillium and flasks so the difference between 5 and 35 percent would be huge. Ofc dif between 10,11, or 15% not so much.

I've seen 20% in a lot of places. It's what I base my math on.
