Question Suggestions on how to shuffle these JC/Enc mats?

Hi, this is my first post here since I got back into WoW after a long break after Cataclysm released. I've been buying a lot of Ghost Iron Ore for around ~65g/Stack. I've been prospecting it in large quantities and now I'm left with a slew of Gems.

I've taken a look at the MoP Ore Shuffling Spreadsheet that's floating around here but I can't seem to wrap my head around what exactly I should be making to make a profit out of all my purchases. So any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

Below is a list of all my materials & the server I'm on.

    Server:

    Bleeding Hollow / Horde

    Gems:

    x 230
    x 213

    x 66
    x 59
    x 50
    x 43
    x 40
    x 36
    x 30

I think you want to try everything,
Cut some, some rares raw, put up blue jewelry , put up some green jewerly, some will sell some won't , its server, day of the week dependent.
To compare your server to mine , I did the following:
    https://theunderminejournal.com/cate...leeding+Hollow

You have over 5000 ghost iron ore available on your server, I have 106.

You are in a much bigger pond than me, I am a big fish in a tiny pond.
Its hard to know exactly what you should do, so I recommend take some of your stock and try everything, see what works and repeat what works.

I agree with Jimmy here. On my server cut Primal Diamonds have been selling like hotcakes as well as orange yellow and green gems. I go into TSM and disable all but the profitable cuts of each color and try and keep 2 of each on the AH. The access can be turned into rings/necks I try and post the blue procs and DE the rest. If I am feeling lazy and want to afk ill try and cut perfects with the common gems. I usually only transmute orange/green/purple gems because I the the most bang for my buck on those colors.

A couple things. I forgot to mention that I also have 600 in Alchemy as well as JC/Enchanting. So Transmuting is possible, though on Bleeding Hollow / Horde a single Golden Lotus goes for 72g, so X-Muting to primal diamonds may not be the most efficient way to go.

Also, how exactly do I tell which item is selling like "hotcakes"? I'd like to find the most profitable MoP gems that are also selling and not just sitting on the AH waiting to be undercut.

I tend to by colour rather than by by individual cut and just adjust prices by how many raw gems i have sitting around waiting to be moved on. If i have significantly less of one colour than the other i raise the price and conversely i lower the price if i have significantly more of a certain colour. This tends to sort the best selling high profitable ones from the general trash and i found this way to get a happy balance between what i process and what i sell (never lowering below my ore by price though although this does involve using a spreadsheet to work properly).

The only other way really is to try selling them and pour through the TSM sales data to see what sold at what price.

You have to test the waters a bit to find your sales. Keep an eye on TSM accounting, feel for what you have to replace on the AH more frequently. Put up a variety of items and watch what goes. Keep in mind you don't need Golden Lotuses to transmute primal diamonds only for common to rare gems.
