    Best Usage for Snowfall Inks?

What's the best usage for it, for some people it's just the leftovers from Inscription that they immediately list to pay for the herbs used for Glyphs. However, I find this to be counterproductive and a waste of potential profit.

As a quick aside, I'd also like to say apologies for the thread spam, however when the forums become more active and gain more readership, they will hopefully be drawn into the discussions I am attempting to create and stick around.

Back to business, there are many uses for Snowfall Ink and I regularly use all of them to diversify the way that I make gold with this useful byproduct of making Glyphs.
    • First of all, Runescroll of Fortitude These sell well in stacks of 5 to people lacking a Priest in a 10 man or sometimes to people wanting moar hps in Battlegrounds or a 5 man.
    • Secondly, there is another Scroll, a lesser used and not to well reccomended from experience. However if you can move them on your server then you have no excuse not to - Runescroll of Brilliance.
    • Offhands - On my server there are massive profit margins on these, however I recommend one over the other, from my experience anyway, Faces of Doom sells better and for more on my server. However if its counterpart Ironbound Tome is selling well and for a good profit (always check these things out) then sell it.
    • Last of all, if you're feeling lucky, you could try out Darkmoon Card of the North, hope you get Nobles (and then hope Nobles sell, always check that too) and then laugh your way to the bank. You can read more about this over on WoWConfidential's posts on the subject, they're slightly out of date however it is still informative on the subject - One, Two, Three.

I thought that these didn't make it into the game - my scribe doesn't know how to make them at least!

We felt that the near-mandatory buffs were Fort, Kings and perhaps Gift. It may be very hard to do say a 10-player heroic without those buffs.

Once you get into Arcane Int then you have to start thinking about Spirit and Shadow Protection and whatever. We didn't want to create a dozen or more new scrolls. And honestly, we'd rather you have players than scrolls. But we recognize that you don't always have that much flexibility in a 10-player run.

Runescroll of Brilliance was added in patch 3.3.3.

Hmmm, I also don't have Runescroll of Brilliance on my scribe...I'm betting most people don't even know it exists.

Edit: there's a comment from someone on wowhead from 3.3.5 still saying they want this buff...color me confused.

Wowhead doesn't list where it can be learned, so it must not be implemented.

Ah... Major apologies. I assumed it was implemented without checking my actual profession on live :/
I should probably check these things better in future

Interesting. I wonder if it made the PTR but not live.

Too bad it didn't make it into live... Could probably be useful for us mana classes, even while solo.

OT: Aside from the ones you mention, here are some that work pretty well for me:

    • [Twilight Tome]. (Doesn't use Snowfall I know, but its good anyway :D) Cheap to make, almost no competition, nice margins and ok sales (usually a couple each week).
    • [Rituals of the New Moon] MAKE IT! I cannot say this enough, if you do not sell these, get your ass out of the seat and get started! these can (on my server) be made for around 50g, and sell very frequently at 150g or around there, as long as you make sure to advertise it in trade, as not a lot of people know of it. My macros say something along the line of "Think Sparkly Vampires are silly? Then run with Jacobs pack! [Rituals of the New Moon], all colours on the AH now!", and instantly get a few whispers about it.
    • [Certificate of Ownership] Is another relatively unknown item with pretty good sales and margins, and almost no competition.

    Yup, think that's it.

Hi, I agree totally about selling the Rituals of the New Moon off hand, especially if you're on an RP server like me
It's the only off-hand that I can actually sell on my server, I used to turn all my snowfall inks into Northrend Cards but this close to Cata they just don't sell on my server.

Rituals don't use Snowfall Ink. Unless blizzard ninja-changed the mats on me.
