    drowning in snowfall ink

I had a quick question for the forum - what do you guys think is the best thing to do with a plethora of snowfall ink? I've been milling herbs till my eyes are practically bleeding to stock up on glyphs for the xpac and by doing so I have ended up with A LOT of snowfall ink that I can't really do much with I feel. I can't find a recipe that takes nothing but snowfall and some eternals (without using up some of my useful ink that I would prefer not to part with ) Will these inks have any value come Cataclysm? Would it perhaps be useful to try to unload them as raw material on the AH now? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thank You!

    Alja

I personally am unloading these at 100g stack, but with the income from glyphs the actual profit is insane. Glyphmas is still running along nicely with the trickle of people coming back to sample the pre-cata content

These days the only really useful thing to use them for is making epic offhands or runescrolls. I have been dribbling out my remaining stocks through these where possible.
If your lucky you can find someone who needs DM cards for the insane title, although due to changes made to the requirements for the achievement in the expansion i believe the main scrabble for these has gone.

The Insane scramble has died down, but DM rep is still in game. Continue to make Warth DM cards as folks would like cheaper cards for their rep come Cataclysm.

Thanks for the suggestions - I think I will just try to hold on to them for now to make DM cards (per your suggestions), it's just a hard choice because I have stacks upon stacks of them and all of my ink of the sea is tied up in glyph making at the moment.

I've been able to offload Snowfall ink for 5-8g each. I've actually sold my entire storage of them within about 2 weeks. I have a small supply of them to myself on my scribe, just in case.

My own opinion of the DMF card situation is iffy. Wrath mats won't be as common in Cataclysm, and right now they are even more expensive than I would pay if I were making decks, since the decks now hardly move for much. I would rather put my investments into the new DMF cards in Cataclysm to get my DMF rep. It's likely that other people are thinking the same thing too.

I have been looking for Insane-in-progress prople for some time, and have had 2 deals with people going for the title. They normally farm herbs like crazy for Darkmoon rep, and trade Ink of the Sea for Snowfall Ink in Dalaran at 1:10 ratio. Im trading them at 1:7 getting, which is a good deal for both of us. I currently only have 1 whom im trading with (the other has become insane). The prices oon Herbs are pretty high on my server lvl77+ are not often going for less them 20G/stack. With that price on Herbs im able to sell a little Snowfall ink on the AH for 200G/stack. The reason i have snowfall up on Ah is to identify people making cards for the insane.

Lucky...My server is at ~3g per ink, and the competition is fierce. I got about 1000 banked, and at these prices I can't see too much risk for a loss come cataclysm. I decided today I'm just keepin em and hopin for the best.

I think my “Insane customer” whom I have been trading for with in a ration 1:7 panicked a little last night with the vendor in Dalaran closed.

We agreed on a trade for my entire stock of 1.100 . I’m kind of like “a bird in the hand” happy about the trade, but I would have preferred to keep a nice stock for later.

I just sold 20kg of inks at 5g/each (twice the amount I've been able to get them to sell for on the AH recently). Using WotLK decks is still significantly faster than lower level decks for the Insane, and there will be a huge cost difference between Cataclysm and WotLK decks once the expansion hits, which means that people going for the title will likely still want these in bulk. It's a very limited market, but putting up a post on your realm forums or even just scanning them to see if someone's currently looking to buy things for the title is worth it.
