The Wonders of a Level 35

As a player that doesn't have a large ammount of 80's ready to craft items for me, I've found some of my low level alts to be profitable with unmaxed professions. If you're like me and also have a level 35+ alt, maybe you should consider crafting some of these items depending on which professions you have on them.

    Alchemy

    Blacksmithing

(Blacksmithing can create low level weapons/armor as well. The profit on these items depends on your server, and are not listed)

    Enchanting

(Having a Blood Elf enchanter allows you to enchant items up to level 310. This means you can enchant crusader, spellpower, and healing power to weapons)

    Engineering

    or

    Inscription
Obviously there are many glyphs you can create to resell with inscription. One of the non-glyph items you can craft is which can bring in profit. Inks can also sometimes be sold for profit too, depending on your server.

    Jewelcrafting
Much like Blacksmithing, items created from jewelcraft requires experimenting around on your server to find items with a demand. Prospecting can be done on ores up to thorium, which can bring in profit. Use Wow Prospector - World of Warcraft Prospecting Calculator to your advantage.

    Leatherworking

Once again this is another profession that crafts armor and depends on your server. The winter boots can be crafted at level 35, and sell well especially during december. Leatherworking has some decent blues that you can look into crafting for profit.

    Mining
Besides farming ores, mining is always useful for crafting bars for other professions. You can also smelt ores into bars for profit.

    Tailoring
    Anything on this list.

During the Feast of the Winter Veil, you can sell bolts of wool cloth for great prices.

I would just like to say you should look into your server prices before crafting any of this. Most items won't be a major source of your income, but you'd be suprised to see how many of these professions can have a couple good gold makers. If you are level 35, you should be able to make any of the items listed here.

Is there any mistakes I have made? Want to add a suggestion? Leave a comment.

Excellent post Valdron. This also isn't ONLY for low levels. Many a time someone with a max level profession will completely forget about possible low skill level items that could be profitable. Too much tunnel vision focus on the high end seemingly expensive stuff.

With the exception of the blacksmithing rods, the information in this post is all still good stuff. So not a bad thread to necro, all things considered.

It's ok, this thing is archived anyway. I almost deleted your comment but I will let this record-setting necro stand (partly because this is a throwback to @Sinshroud's colored replies!).

Wow, this thread takes us back to the infancy of the forums. Sort of like the Hubble Telescope of necros.
