Re-Visit: BOA/PvP Twink gear enchants... still quite profitable

Something I have continued to put focus on for making gold are BOA enchants (and in many cases, PvP twink gear enchants as well). It has been brought up in the past and fallen down, if not off, the radar as of late. So I am reviving it because it can be a big gold maker.

BOA items can be enchanted, but it must be an enchant that does NOT require a minimum level to apply it.

With the addition of BOA cloaks for guilds reaching level 10, this adds to the list of great enchants to profit on.

More players are starting to play and more players are creating additional alts (Worgen/Goblin alts = profit), which means there's no better time than now to capitalize on this great market.

Here are enchants that typically are most popular (results may vary by server):

Obtained: Exalted rep with Cenarion Expedition (Zangarmarsh- Outlands)
    Mats: Small Prismatic Shard x3
    Greater Planar Essence x3
    Fel Lotus x2
Comments:The mats for this enchant are relatively cheap, and can result in huge profits. I sell this enchant for 250-300 gold each and mats cost around 50-55 gold.

Obtained: Random Drop in Molten Core off any boss
    Mats: Large Brilliant Shard x4
    Greater Eternal Essence x4
    Essence of Water x4
Comments: I've found this enchant to sell a little better than its Spellpower counterpart, due to the lower cost of the mats, and subsequent lower sell price (although, not much lower sell price, so it can result in higher profitability). Check your server to see if the same trend applies or not.

Obtained: Random Drop in Molten Core off any boss
    Mats: Large Brilliant Shard x4
    Greater Eternal Essence x6
    Golden Pearl x2
Comments: The mats for this enchant are a bit higher than its Healing Power counterpart, and only results in a 1 spellpower gain. I've found more players steer towards the Healing Power enchant instead because of the lower cost. Check your server to see if the same trend applies or not.

Obtained: Honored rep with Timbermaw Hold (Felwood- Kalimdor)
    Mats: Large Brilliant Shard x4
    Essence of Air x4
Comments: This is an often overlooked enchant and can many times have minimal competition. It is an easily obtained enchant, due to the boost in Timbermaw rep gained from kills and repeatable turn-in quests. It is quite popular for BOA weapons and PvP twinks as well. I have netted some large profits from this enchant alone and should definitely be on your list.

    Obtained: Random drop
    Mats: Large Brilliant Shard x4
    Righteous Orb x2
Comments: This is still fairly popular and can yield some decent profits. Righteous Orbs are not overly expensive to buy on the AH and can also be farmed pretty easily.

Obtained: Friendly rep with Timbermaw Hold (Felwood- Kalimdor)
    Mats: Large Brilliant Shard x8
    Essence of Air x4
Comments: Not as popular as the 1H agility enchant, but still sells somewhat. I wouldn't put a lot of gold worth of mats into this one, but keeping one on AH will add some profit.

Obtained: Revered rep with Thorium Brotherhood (Blackrock Depths bar)
    Mats: Large Brilliant Shard x6
    Greater Eternal Essence x5
    Illusion Dust x20
Comments: This is a great BOA and PvP twink enchant for casters & healers. It's costs a bit more for the mats, but still worth selling.

Obtained: Random World Drop in Outlands zones/dungeons
    Mats: Large Brilliant Shard x2
    Illusion Dust x6
Comments: This is just about the only worthwhile enchant to put on a BOA chest, thus making it pretty popular. It sells pretty well and the mats are relatively inexpensive, resulting in big profits. Just need to get ahold of the formula for it, which can be the tough part. It is pretty rare and typically pretty expensive to buy on the AH.

Obtained: Qia in Winterspring (vendor at Everlook town)
    Mats: Small Brilliant Shard x2
Comments: This is mainly just a PvP twink enchant. Sells decently, but some PvP twinks will still go for the +4 Stats to Chest instead. But, the mats are cheap and even a few sales here and there can result in good profits.

These are the main ones I dabble with regularly. There are possibly a few others that can sell somewhat and yield profit, but I try to stick with these here, as they generate the best profits for me.

Again, server economy differences will dictate what sells better, but the ones above are mostly pretty safe bets across all servers.

Ever since word got out about the idea of making Stealth enchants, prices for those scrolls have plummeted on my server. What used to be 400g is now sitting at about 120g. But I also deal in most of the other enchants on this list, and I've found that most sell, usually one every day or two.

Honestly, besides Hurricane/Avalanche, old world and BoA enchants is what's making my enchanting market most of the gold currently. I regulary sell 2-3 Mighty Intellect a day at 450g, a few Fiery and Crusaders and if i'm lucky 2 Stealths. Oh yea, i'm still selling 10+ Mongoose's a week for around 400-650g. The majority of the Cata enchants still aren't selling for above mat costs =/ So i've just been selling my Hypnotics and Essences.
    85 Paladin Enchanting/Jewelcrafting - 85 Hunter Herbalism/Mining - 83 Shaman Inscription/Alchemy - 75 Deathknight Tailoring/Jewelcrafting - 10/25 = 2k Gold, 1/23 = 100k Gold, 3/6 230k - Thank you Consortium forums!

Great post + rep - i have had this in my head and often forgot to restock on all the heirloom enchants when sold out.

The sales are not huge, but I do sell pretty often. My strategy is to focus on cost rather then the sell price, since the materials are in limited supply. A bit late now, but pre-cata people did a lot of old stuff to get achivements, and I was picking up huges stocks of materials at prices 1/2 - 1/4 of current AH.

I check AH everyday for which im always in need of - I'm buying anything below 2G/each of these - and as a methode of last resort I start making and DE .

..edit: need to give the +rep later, as my browser at work can't handle the popup (old IE 7.0)

Surprisingly, being on a high pop server, I have very little competition on the Stealth enchants. At most I've seen 2 other people posting them on the AH. I sell consistently at 249-259g each. I avg probably 1 per day. I've been tempted to lower the price a bit and see if I can boost the number of sales each day.

Sadly, Mighty Intellect to weapon isn't selling too well anymore for me. I have little to no competition, but still can't sell them. Will need to do more experiments with pricing, to see if I can re-energize that bit of the market.

Mongoose is still great for me as well. Buy mats for 200g or less... sell enchant for 400-425g. Gotta love those easy profits!
