    PvP Sets

I've been making good money off of the crafted PvP sets lately (Bloodied Leather, etc.). Each piece had been selling around 1500G and in most cases, I am able to snatch up the mats for roughly half that cost. I've also noticed that there have been some dumped in bulk well below cost (200-300G), presumably by people that power-leveled their profession and are just looking to unload them. I will be flipping these for even more profit.

Monday nights are a great night to drive up prices as it's last chance for weekly arena points. Also, consider that there will likely be a boost in PvP activity in the next little while with people/guilds that were either waiting until after the holidays to get going or that got Cataclysm for Christmas and have just recently hit 85.

I'm on a PvP server, so I'm interested to hear what everyone else has been seeing.

Good heavens...1500g?!? Most of the leather pieces on my server are listed right around cost, and you can't give away the bloodied pyrium pieces. There are about 5 belts listed right now between 75-100g.

That being said, I'm on a PVE server.

Yep. 1500G - and I'm basically the only person selling them.

It depends on the piece, I myself am I tailor, and the helms, chests, and legs sell for 1,000g+ but the belts, bracers, and shoulders etc sell for less than 100g because that's what people make as they power level. So while they sell their pieces for 100g, I'm making things worth the same mats for 900-1,200g more. It's wonderful.

I was also realm first illustrious tailor or whatever it's called, so i sold alot of those pieces at 2,000-3,000g for a few days, THAT was nice. Then in a matter of a week they drove it down to 200g or less for most pieces. Even if some sell for less than 200g, check ALL the slots, and armor types.

I'm on an overcrowded PvE server and I also noticed a gap in the PvP gear market when the new season started. I bought a few of the Bloodied Leather/Mail patterns (costing around 700g each in leather to buy) and was able to sell the armor at 1499g each (with a mat cost of 600-700g).

I then reinvested the profit in buying more patterns and depending on the item selling for between 1000g and 1499g. I now have a full set of designs and can craft whatever the market demands.

I now have 4 or 5 people competing with me and unfortunately at least 2 of them fit the profile of AH farmers as I am constantly undercut every 30 minutes for about a 20 hour period during the day but I still sell between 5-15 of each every day for any price between 800g (my threshold) and 1299 (my fallback).

To keep any of the other casuals away I buy up most of the dragonscale and leather as I know I can make a profit from crafting it.

The only pain about it is the idiots who post 14 pages of single leather items and the fools who post items at 150g that cost 600g to craft. I just buy their stock and flip it.
