    MoP Shuffle Flowchart!

    Better late than never!

We're almost to the second major patch after the launch of MoP, and we still get a ton of questions about "shuffling". "I have extra Ore - what should I do with it?", etc.

So, I've created this flowchart. Presented are two versions - a .PNG file, and a .PDF file. Enjoy! And if you see any major errors, let me know and I'll upload an edited version:

Like that. It's pretty nice to have it at hand next time I'm stumbling over a few cheap stacks of ore.

The PDF (and the image I suppose) fits nicely on a sheet of 8.5x11 paper, so it's easy to print. Enjoy!

The graphic implies that I should only prospect kyparite and make bars out of Ghost Iron. Am I reading that right?

Kyparite is used in a handful of BoE recipes, but otherwise, prospecting is the only thing you can do with it. No kyparite bars or anything like that.
Retired - I blame Kathroman for everything.

    (that's a joke, eh)

You'll notice that the smelting arrow goes directly from Ghost Iron Ore to the Bars. The prospecting arrow comes from a green box that surrounds both GIO and Kyparite, indicating that both can and should be prospected.

Yeah...and what @Stede said. Good thought however.

Basically I tried to keep the graphic to things that were made as an end-product to "shuffling" the ore. One could argue that the Masterwork gear might not qualify either, but technically it still needs the Trillium, which comes from the Ore --> Bars --> Transmute: Trillium. So it still requires "shuffling". Anything made directly from the ore items were not included because most folks don't consider that a "shuffle".

Why do people make perfect cuts?
To me it seems there's more profit in using those gems to make jewelry to D/E.
I mean, perfect gems are a proc, which means that most of the gems you get are just gonna be vendored,
whereas ALL of the jewelry you make has a profitable purpose (and the procs are a potential 350+ sellers on the AH).
