    Selling a Dun Morogh Cub

So I just picked up a Dun Morogh Cub from my auction house for 500 Gold and I was wondering what was a good price to put it back up for. I had planned on posting it and then barking in trade a bit to help generate some interest but I don't have a good Idea of its true value. I'm on the Horde side so it isnt readily available, I assume the person who I bought it from got it through the new Satchel of Exotic Mysteries.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try TUJ for a evaluation of prices on your server

I tried the TUJ to see if there was anything but it doesnt have very much data on it since it hasn't been a common item on my server.

Use your factions' price point data. Look at the faction Market and faction Mean, pick something you feel comfortable with, perhaps add some %, and try to sell it.

Looking at your server, you've posted at 9.5k based on previous single sale of 3k, and a faction market of 3.8k / mean of 4.3k. IMO you picked a good starting price, now be patient!

    2 things -

    1) At the bottom of the TUJ page for the cub they will have a scatter plots showing the prices across all realms. Make sure you look at the prices of the horde realms specifically.

    2) I sell these as well. I had them up for 10k for about 3 months with no sales. I used this time to raise the price in peoples mind. After this patch I dropped my price to 5k and they are selling. I used to sell them at 2k back in wrath cross faction and they would move then as well. Either way I think you found a nice buy.

Unless I'm mistaken, the pets from the satchels are BoP... at least one that my guildie got was BoP. The pet he got normally is a BOE pet too, but not from the satchel.

The argent tourney ones from the satchel are BOE, I can confirm that 100%. Perhaps there are other pets that are BOP?

Some must be BoP then. My guildie made the mistake of auto-looting his satchel and the pet he got was BoP. He already had it, but couldn't send it to an alt because it was BoP. I'm trying to remember which pet it was, but I remember it definitely was a pet that is normally BOE.

Do this. Set a cached price to something extreme and keep it there for a while. Then lower the price to give the impression of a good deal.

That would be welcome news. I was worried about the increased competition for these pets. Now I only have to contend with decreased demand :P
