Any confirmation on that uncommon gem vendor change

    Hey goblins,

So all indications really are pointing to this Tuesday being patch day. I was wondering if we had actually gotten any official word about this uncommon gems vendor price drop. Is it still 75s cut, 5g uncut on the PTR? Has Blizzard ever actually said anything about this? If they have I missed it.

Just wondering, on the apparent eve of the change, what the change is actually gonna be.

No official word from Blizzard since nothing is in the release PTR notes. I'm a prospecting fool right now. Just bought 200 stacks of Obsidium for 25g/stack. Having my son sit and prospect, cut and vendor for me instead of mowing the lawn.

I honestly would not expect this change to be in the patch notes if it indeed does go live.

    I LoL'd. Goblineering, it's a family business.

Aeg, why wouldn't they put a change like this in the patch notes? Not putting significant changes like this in the patch notes seems really shady to me.

Honestly, this isn't a major change really. To us, it's major... but to the general WoW population, it's not major. It's not really a game changing "change". Only those people that really do the shuffle will care enough. Most WoW players aren't likely even aware of the shuffle to begin with. Many don't have a Jewelcrafter.

There are many changes that get put in, without being mentioned. There are likely to be a whole bunch of undocumented changes with 4.1

I agree. I'm sure you could get a few quality screenshots just by simply announcing in trade that vendors will give you gold for stuff... come to think of it, brb.

I've got my fingers half-crossed at this point in anticipation that it is introduced without warning. The number of players who keep up with patch notes is already small enough, the number who also keep up with the latest datamining when compared with the general population is probably downright miniscule. So here's to hoping the uninformed flip out on Tuesday afternoon and unload all their ore for ridiculously low prices and make the rest of us some gold.
