    Goodbye 55g-Amberjewel-Cuts; Hello No-More-Vendor-Cutting

I just finished my last batch of Zephyrite cutting and vendoring and wanted to share the good things from our beloved shuffle in terms of my MySales statistics.

I highly doubt I will continue selling Mystics and Puissants for 55g+, let alone Solids for 100g+. cut Dream Emeralds have dropped down to 30g. Ah, dear ore shuffle -- during our short affair you served me well. It's been a good run. I do kind of look forward to not having to prospect thousands and thousands of ore (Ironically, I will instead be milling 10 000+ herbs) and cutting and vendoring hundreds and hundreds of uncommon gems, and allow myself to shift some of that time and focus into my other professions.

So -- what will you miss the most about the Obsidium Ore Shuffle that we have all come to know and love? And what are you looking forward to the most in 4.1?

I will probably miss the large amount of cheap ore. Otherwise, I will do the shuffle on a larger scale since all the amateurs leave the markets.

Just how small is your realm? (as in curious not trying to be rude) I just checked and solids are 26k and were selling for under 14 in the recent past.

It looks like we are in the middle of the realms.

Quick amberjewels are selling for 10g but uncuts are selling for 4g so that is a 6g profit for cutting.

I assume that ore will keep dropping in price until the shuttle generates enough profit that some people are willing to do it.

Holy crap prices are crazy high on your realm. I'm happy if i sell a Solid at 25g and ANY amberjewel cut higher than 12g. Hell, EVERYTHING on your MySale list makes me jaw drop, i'd easily be worth 2x more than i have now if my realm prices reflected yours.

I did a ton of shuffling in wrath since my main focus areas were/are enchanting and jewelcrafting, so I foresee a break from it for a while until everything stabilizes on my realm, and then I will be given it my focus again.
If the margins are worthwhile, ill be happily shuffling till my fingers bleed :-)

Blue, yellow, and green cuts do not sell anywhere near yours on my server despite some of them being very much in high demand.

I'm lucky to get 100g on red cuts on mine, /jealous indeed.

Now I know why it is harder to make gold on my realm ....
    blue yellow green <= 10g
    orange purple ~ 40g
    red ~ 60g

to be fair its still pure win as the rare gems were "free"
I will take a break from the shuffeling until I can see in which direction the prices will go, or better until those "40g undercutting retards" realize that these gems are not a free source of money.

The 4.1 changes are going to be fantastic for rare prices as it will no longer be possible to consider rares as zero cost.

Do you really believe the masses will understand this? I am more pessimistic towards the change.
