    Coilfang Armaments Botter?

Have someone who has posted over 6k Colilfang Armaments in the last weeks - listing them at 1g each (about 6% of market price on my server).

I've bought them out 2-3 times now - but am wondering if it is someone botting an instance - or botting zangarmarsh?

Not sure how long I want to sustain these buyouts as it could take me awhile to sell these off - and that assumes they won't keep dumping them on AH.

Any one experienced this? I have a strong bankroll - so I have plenty of cash to continue to buyout as many as they can list.

I wouldn't say it would be easy to move 6k of them, but you could always sell them as Reputation kits (Here's an example with the Thorium Brotherhood). If a person is friendly with the CE, then it takes about 350 armaments to get to exalted, which allows them to buy . Since they're at 1g each, it'd only take about 350g to produce a kit, which you can sell for incredibly large mark-ups.
The only problem to this would be that he'd have cheaper ones on the AH (Unless you put in a report). Perhaps you could sell the kits on the other faction?

Thanks for the advice - don't have any horde-side toons atm - the rep kits are a great idea down the road maybe if I need to dump these.

I'm gonna keep an eye on it - right now I'm guessing I'm the ONLY person he's making money from - doubtful that most people would spring for multiple stacks of these - thinking if I just keep an eye, he'll realize its not a very profitable market without me buying him out - and he'll move on.

    I'm patient...its a virtue for sure.

This sounds like a good long-term investment. He can't keep posting these for ever, though he might be around for a long time. If you've got a large investment capital, it might be a good idea to keep buying up everything and "selling mounts" as Valdron pointed out.

At 1g each I'd gladly buy at least 50k of these before getting second thoughts; I say go for it.

There's just no way selling them that cheap is profitable for him.

Try striking up a conversation with the guy and see if there's any chance he would be interested in CODing them to you as he gets them and / or whether you could get a discount for buying largue quantities (don't shed any light on his already super cheap prices).

Wouldn't you agree that he's already getting a pretty good discount?

Yeah or that guy can farm it forever with three accounts each soloing its own instance dumping 5k armaments every day with almost no chance to be banned because no one would spot him botting. Nice steady income I'd say.

He certainly is, but the advantage of having them COD'd to himseflf instead of having on the AH is that in doing so he deprives his kit-buying customers from the alternative of buying the armaments on the AH, which gives him far more leeway in setting the kits' prices. Definitely the better option if you ask me.

    Sounds interesting.

Farming Underbog is probably the best way to get those armaments and is probably how he/she/it(?) is doing it.

You should try get hold of the botter and get them to supply you directly - and reputation kits are definitely a good idea.

You could buy them from him until you have a good bundle, then report him for possible botting.
