    Talking Encrypted Twilight Text

I haven't seen this mentioned here yet. The Twilight Cultist mobs in Silithus drop Encrypted Twilight Texts that are used for the Cenarion Circle rep grind. Stacks of ten can be handed in at a time. They are really easy to farm, they have a pretty decent drop rate. On my server, I've sold stacks of these for around 200-600g.

I'm not sure how this will work come Cataclysm but figured I'd throw it out there.

TUJ shows prices from 4-20g per text and, on my server at least, very little competition. If you are waiting for air elementals to respawn, you could take a tour through to kill some cultists. Be sure to look for the roaming Twilight Profit. She drops 7-10 texts every time. The rest are about 35-40% chance for 1 text. Oh, and there's the twilight cultist clothing. Each of those sells for 4-5g as well. Excellent suggestion.

I have actually been selling off my bank and these items actually sell surpringly well.

Check your banks for , too. I sold these off at 30g per. Someone grinding for the final chest would have a use for these.

When grinding Cenarian Circle Reputation, there are several rather complex quests that you can do in order to get certain items.

For example as previously mentioned [Abyssal Crest]. Now how is this created? Well first you need to farm the full Twilight Trappings set (Head, Shoulders and Chest). You equip them and then go "talk" or use a Lesser Windstone found within all the major Twilight Cultist camps. This then summons the 1 or 4 mini-bosses (namely Hoary Templar, Earthen Templar, Crimson Templar and Azure Templar which are basically the core elements - Air, Earth, Fire and Water). They then drop the [Abyssal Crest].

Obtain 3 X [Abyssal Crest] + 1 X [Large Brilliant Shard] and you can then complete the quest Dukes of the Council which gives you a [Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station] reward. (It can also be used in other smaller less important quests, but this quest line here is the main one for reputation gain)

You then obtain another full Twilight Trappings set, equip it AND the [Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station] and you then have access to a normal Windstone (bigger and more important than a Lesser Windstone). This then summons another 1 of 4 mini-bosses which are a bit harder to kill this time and are also elements. They drop an [Abyssal Signet].

Again Obtain 3 X [Abyssal Signet] + this time 5 X [Large Brilliant Shard] and you can then complete the quest Lords of the Council which gives you a [Twilight Cultist Ring of Lordship].

And guess what?! We get to do this all AGAIN. Obtain a full Twilight Trappings set, equip your set + [Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station] + [Twilight Cultist Ring of Lordship] and you will have access to Greater Windstone. This then summons another 1 of 4 mini-bosses which are rather hard to kill and used to take a small raid of level 60s to kill this time and are also elements. They drop an [Abyssal Scepter] which again can be turned in for a nice nature resistance ring or other quests for more rep and so on and so fourth. These last bosses drop BoP blue items and quite frequently BoP epics too.

Therefore what have you learned? How damn important those [Abyssal Crest] are! Each stage of the quest line that you advance, the number of [Abyssal Crest] required grows exponentially.

I would recommend checking out this WoWWiki page as a good reference and guide to what is needed. http://www.wowwiki.com/Cenarion_Circle_reputation_guide
